Law enforcement reports and arrests released Wednesday, July 25, 2012.

*3:38am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Avenue B regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that overnight someone had broken out the window of his vehicle. The complainant stated that the car was parked at the back of the residence when the offense occurred and no suspects were known.
*6:44am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of 8th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the offense occurred sometime between the hours of 8:00pm on July 23rd and 6:44am on July 24th.
*9:55am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Belmeade regarding the theft of a motor vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that his truck had been stolen from his driveway overnight, between the hours of 9:30pm and 9:55am. A friend located the complainant’s black and brown 1995 Chevrolet pickup at Coggin Park where it was processed and then released back to its owner.
*11:38am-Brownwood City Marshal Dean Kilburn was dispatched to arrest 30-year-old Nichole Marie Sanchez on a warrant for failure to appear. Sanchez was given an additional charge of Unlawful Restraint when she refused to come to the door and refused to allow another person inside the residence to leave, according to reports. 35-year-old John Michael Kelton of Rising Star was also arrested for Unlawful Restraint and Hinder Apprehension, the report states.
*1:00pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of W. Commerce Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to Brownwood Police, the woman pulled the rear view mirror off of a vehicle and struck a male occupant with it. This call led to the arrest of 21-year-old Amanda Lowery for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Family Violence, according to jail records.
*2:51pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Monterrey regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone broke into his wife’s car overnight. A possible suspect has been named, the report states.
*3:15pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Avenue J regarding theft.
*5:28pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding forgery. According to the report, the complainant advised the officer that a check had been stolen from their mail and that it was then cashed at a local check cashing business.
*7:21pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Belmeade regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the vehicle was parked on the street and left unlocked overnight. Items in a bag, which was located in the floorboard, were stolen from the vehicle. No suspect information was available at the time of the report.
*7:33pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Avenue B regarding a burglary. According to the report, the complainant stated that a mini bike had been stolen out of the shed in her backyard.
*8:07pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Vine Street regarding found property. According to the report, the complainant stated that she found an unknown knife in her purse, which was turned into Brownwood Police Department’s property room.
*9:06pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of US Hwy 377S regarding possible credit card abuse. According to the report, a store employee advised the officer that four females entered the store and purchased twelve $50 gift cards using several different credit cards. Dispatch advised the officer that the subjects had left the store prior to the complaint. The employee was unable to provide the names of the card, but was able to provide the last four digits of the cards used in the transactions. A report was taken for informational purposes.
*9:30pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Calvert Road and Longhorn Drive regarding a suspicious vehicle which was parked in the middle of the road. The vehicle was located in the southbound lane of Calvert Road and was towed by Welch Brothers Towing, the report states.
*11:00pm-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Broadmoor for a defective headlight. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 41-year-old Clifton Louis Medcalf for Driving While License Invalid with No Insurance, according to jail records.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
