Law enforcement reports and arrests released Tuesday, July 24, 2012.
Monday, July 23
*12:52pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Lackey Street regarding the violation of a protective order. According to the report, the complainant stated that his girlfriend had been assaulted in June and that an emergency protective order had been filed on her ex-husband who had been parked in front of the residence prior to the officer’s arrival. An investigation was begun on the violation of a protective order and a suspect has been named, the report states. No arrest was made at the time of the report.
*2:02pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Coggin Avenue, the 7-11 convenience store, regarding an incident of theft which occurred on July 22nd at 10:04pm.
*2:04pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that his pole saw was stolen. Possible suspects were determined and identified and an investigation is pending, the report states.*4:11pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding a theft that had occurred at Hibbett Sporting Goods. According to the police report, the loss prevention manager advised that an employee of the store, 21-year-old Ryan Abbott, admitted to stealing $81.38 in merchandise from the store. Abbott was arrested and taken to the Brown County Jail charged with Class B Theft.
*7:00pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of CC Woodson Road regarding found property. According to the report, the clerk at EZ Mart found a Texas Driver’s License in the store and it was taken to the Brownwood Police Department property room.
*8:06pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of Belle Plain regarding a motor vehicle accident. Upon investigation the driver, identified as 25-year-old Jessica Elizabeth Parsons was found to have a suspended license and was placed under arrest for Driving While License Invalid with Previous Convictions/without Financial Responsibility.
*10:23pm-A Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to another officer’s location as back up regarding an intoxicated person. According to the report, the driver of a vehicle who was identified as 26-year-old Orinda Delores Solis had driven up to a convenient store in her vehicle and had passed out in the parking lot. This call led to the arrest of Solis for Driving While Intoxicated and Resisting Arrest or Transport, according to jail records. Solis refused to submit a blood sample so a warrant for a sample was obtained, the report states. She was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center where a blood sample was obtained and then Solis was taken to the Brown County Jail, reports state.
*10:50pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Slayden where there a zebra stripe bag was located in the parking lot. The report states that an owner was not located.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Timothy Scott Richardson for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 less than 1 gram in a Drug Free Zone, Abandon Endanger Child Criminal Negligence and an outstanding warrant.
Tuesday, July 24
*12:22am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of Slayden Street regarding a fight in progress. According to the report, an off-duty officer witnessed the suspect vehicle leaving the scene, and described it as a black SUV. Investigation determined that 29-year-old Michael Pena had forced his way into the complainant’s apartment in an attempt to locate his wife and assaulted the complainant, police reports state. Pena was located soon afterward at his residence where he was arrested for Burglary with Intent to Commit Assault, reports state.
*4:15am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Elizabeth Drive regarding the violation of a protective order. According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-husband was violating the order by driving by her residence repeatedly. As a result of this call, 49-year-old Donald Augustus Pressley was arrested for Violation of a Protective Order, reports state.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
