Thursday, July 15
*At 10:44am, Brownwood Police were called to a hit and run of a vehicle in the 400 block of S. Broadway. No suspect information was available. According to the report, the hood and fender of the vehicle had been damaged.
Tuesday, July 20
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance between two neighbors on CR 334. According to the report, dispatch could hear the two “hollering” on the telephone. The argument was stated in the report to be over a dog. According to the complainant, the neighbor had come onto his property to get a dog which had been at his residence for about a month. The deputy was informed that the neighbor had just gotten out of the nursing home after having medical problems. The complainant did allow the deputy to catch the dog and give it to its rightful owners; however the property was clearly marked with no trespassing signs and the complainant led the deputy to believe that he would shoot any other trespassers the report stated.
Wednesday, July 21
*At 6:23pm, Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of W. Commerce in reference to found drugs/narcotics. According to the report, the drugs were seized and placed in evidence at BPD. Police are issuing a warrant for a suspect’s arrest.
*At 6:42pm, Brownwood Police responded to a report of theft. Information was gathered and two criminal trespass warnings were issued.
*At 10:32pm Brownwood Police responded to a report of stolen speakers in the 1600 block of Belle Plain.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on CR 153 in reference to a burglary report. According to the report, power tools and some medication were taken from the property. The items were reported to have been pawned, the report states. One suspect admitted to the crime and to pawning the stolen property. An investigation is ongoing. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

*At 1:50am Brownwood police responded to a burglary of a building. According to the report, a CD player was stolen. Suspect information was gathered and as of the report, no arrest had been made. The investigation is ongoing.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
