Saturday, July 16

*10:25 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Oakpark Drive regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, an unknown suspect broke into two vehicles and stole personal items from the victims.

Wednesday, July 20

*7:22 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Gifford Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 47-year-old Gilberto Ramirez of Brownwood for assault with injury family violence by strangulation.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 28-year-old Rebecca Kay Belveal of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/theft by check greater than $20 less than $500.

*30-year-old Brody Tyler Byrd of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

Thursday, July 21

*1:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Almond Street regarding an unwanted person.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received report of a scam.  According to the report, the complainant received an unsolicited telephone call where the caller left a message offering a $10,000 loan if the complainant would return his call.  According to the report, fraudulent checks were deposited into the complainant’s TexasBank account.  The complainant was then instructed to purchase iTunes cards and to provide the numbers to the suspect, and the caller would then arrange a $10,000 loan for the complainant, the report states.

*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Stephanie Lynn Gonzales of Brownwood on a Burnet County warrant for driving while intoxicated.
