Saturday, July 18
*9:56 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Gordon Road regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, one of the parties was detained and the scene secured so that EMS could treat the victim.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant regarding stolen identification. According to the report, a loan had been taken out in the complainant’s name by an unknown person. The loan was for $100 and was to be paid back in a total amount of $127.46.
Monday, July 20
*11:39 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft. According to the report, several items, including a cell phone, were stolen from the complainant’s vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of a north Brownwood Business.
*4:20 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the law enforcement center regarding a possible disturbance over a child custody issue. According to the report, an investigation revealed that a male subject had assaulted his ex-wife. The male, identified as 33-year-old Will Antoine Ross of Brownwood, was arrested for the offense and attempted to pull away from officers. Ross was charged with assault with injury family violence and resist arrest, search or transport, according to police.*6:20 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of W. Commerce Street regarding theft. According to the report, store management reported the theft of several items of merchandise from the store.
*8:16 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Avenue D regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that several tools were removed from the home and an outbuilding without his consent. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*10:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4400 block of McArthur Circle regarding drugs/narcotics. According to the report, a prescription bottle of prescription medication was collected and a report was made for further investigation purposes.
*10:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding hit and run accident. According to the report, while investigating the hit and run, officers determined the accident was a result of a suspect fleeing after allegedly committing a robbery at an apartment in the area.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to County Road 294 regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, an unknown person had been on the property and in the buildings on the property.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 34-year-old Sarah Lee Jordan of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
*Early Police arrested 42-year-old Tommy Lee Kinsey for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Christopher Lee Taylor of Brownwood on a warrant related to organized retail theft equal or greater than $500 less than $1500. Lee was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $5000 bond as of Tuesday morning.
Tuesday, July 21
*Brownwood Police arrested 18-year-old Trevon Michael Vinson of May on a warrant related to theft. Vinson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.
