Wednesday, July 13

*9:41 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Melwood regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had marked obscene things on her vehicle.  The investigation is ongoing, the report states.

Monday, July 18

*3:54 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding theft of property.  According to the report, a few pieces of jewelry had been stolen from the complainant, including a wedding ring and a class ring.

Tuesday, July 19

*10:17 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s corporal was dispatched to Belle Plain Street regarding a theft. The complainant advised that two unidentified males each stole a pair of sunglasses from the store, the report states.

*4:27 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of 8th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.

*7:34 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on Hwy 377S.  As a result of this stop, the driver of the vehicle, identified as 27-year-old Joe Waylon Bush of Brownwood, was arrested for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 <1g.

*9:42 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy arrived at Monaghan Drive near Lake Brownwood regarding theft.   According to the report, the victim stated that a former employee had taken a Roto-Rooter without his consent from a job site located in May, Texas.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy arrested 17-year-old Galen Michael Hinkle of Brownwood for resisting arrest when he failed to comply with direct orders from the deputy while holding a stick and a piece of pipe, according to the report. Once deputies got hands on the suspect, he continued to physically resist and failed to comply with the officers’ orders, the report states.

*40-year-old Jennifer Nichole Fenton of Brownwood turned herself in on warrants related to failure to appear possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and failure to appear/securing execution of document by deception.  Fenton was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $50,000 as of Wednesday morning.

*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old John Christopher Garza of Brownwood on a Taylor County warrant related to theft by check.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Cody Lynn Lewis of Snyder on warrants related to two counts of failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Nicole Lopez of Menard, Texas on a warrant related to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Shauna Rae McGilvray of Abilene, Texas on a warrant related to motion to revoke/forgery

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 29-year-old Brittney Wyanne Meador of Brownwood on warrants related to forgery of a financial instrument, theft of property less than $100 enhanced and theft by check.

Wednesday, July 20

*3:18 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Belle Plain regarding suspicious activity.  During the detention of several individuals, a consent search was performed and drug paraphernalia was located.  A citation for possession of drug paraphernalia was issued to a juvenile subject.

*Brownwood Police arrested 24-year-old Bryan Dee Penn II on a warrant related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and violate promise to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Henry Rivas of Brownwood on a warrant related to tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.
