Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Monday, July 19, 2010.
Tuesday, July 13
*At 11:59pm Brownwood Police responded to the 200 block of W. Commerce in reference to a theft of beer at a local convenience store. According to the report, two 30-packs of beer, valued at $37.98 were stolen from the store. At the time of the report no arrests had been made.
Friday, July 16
*Chief David Mercer of the Early Police Department reported that Officer John Mills observed a white Crown Victory run a stop sign at Parkway and Orchard Dr. He then initiated a traffic stop and observed the driver make a movement in the vehicle as if he stuck something in his mouth before Officer Mills approached, the report states.According to Mercer, when Officer Mills made contact with the driver, who was later identified as 42-year-old Clayton Dale Wilkins of Blanket, he and Sgt Shawn Dibrell observed a small baggie in Wilkins’ mouth. Officers told Wilkins to spit the baggie out. In an attempt to get Wilkins’ to spit the baggie out the officers then began wrestling with Wilkins the report states. Several other officers responded to assist; however, Wilkins was able to swallow the baggie of what Wilkins later admitted was methamphetamines according to the report.
Wilkins was transported to the Emergency Room by Guardian EMS where doctors examined and treated Wilkins for effects the methamphetamines would have on his body. Wilkins was taken to the Brown Co Jail and Booked for Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance, Tampering with Evidence and Resisting Arrest.
*According Brownwood Police reports, an officer initiated a traffic stop due to an expired registration sticker which led to the arrested 26-year-old Tyrone Lynn Organ for Driving While License Invalid and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
*At 11:11am, a complainant entered the Law Enforcement Center and reported an incident of fraud. According to Brownwood Police, an officer received a report from a man that an unknown number of checks from a closed account had been stolen. The report states that one of these checks had been passed at a local convenience store. A police report from Rising Star was given to the Brownwood Police as information in the investigation.
*At 11: 46am Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Avenue B in reference to an assault of a female by an unknown male. According to the report the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived and there was no arrest at the time of the report.
*At 1:50pm, Brownwood Police responded to the 1800 block of Avenue D in regards to a terroristic threat. After speaking with the complainant, a trespass warning was issued to the offending party according to police reports.
*At 2:57pm, a Brownwood Police officer responded to a call in the 4400 block of Edgewood regarding criminal mischief. According to police reports, the victim’s truck had been keyed or scraped with a sharp object along both left and right sides as well as on the hood and tailgate. Estimated damage was reported to be $4000. No suspect information or arrests at the time of the investigation.
*Just before 4:30pm, Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of 2nd Street. According to the report, Howard Payne University Security advised they had a subject detained on Hawkins Street. After the investigation, a male subject, identified as 28-year-old Jesse Michael Patterson, was arrested for theft as well as public intoxication the report states.
*At 6:17pm, a Brownwood officer was called to the 1500 block of Terrace regarding an assault. After an investigation, two criminal trespass warnings were issued according to the report.
Saturday, July 17
*Brownwood Police Department arrested 28-year-old Jesse Michael Patterson for Theft of Property greater than $1500 and less than $20,000.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Acaila Cheynee Radle for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence and Criminal Mischief.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Tori Sanders for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Gerald Eli Ward II of Bangs for Tampering with Physical Evidence and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
* At 7:18am, Brownwood Police Department responded to the 500 block of E. Commerce due to a report of a man exposing himself to a female. According to the report, the male subject was located and identified as 46-year-old Robert Ronnie Wilson. Wilson was arrested for Indecent Exposure and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
*Approximately 2:02pm, Brownwood Police responded to the 1100 block of Durham in reference to criminal mischief. The victim’s vehicle had all four tires as well as the back passenger window were damaged according to the report.
*At 1:09am, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of S US 377. According to police reports, the manager of the apartment complex requested that criminal trespass warnings be issued to several subjects. The subjects were located in one of the apartments and issued criminal trespass warnings the report states.
*At 12:35pm, Brownwood Police responded to the intersection of 16th and Avenue C regarding a sexual assault. Information was gathered and is currently under investigation.
*At 3:43pm, Brownwood Police responded to the 300 block of Bluffview in regards to a report of harassment by text message.
*Approximately 7:20pm, Brownwood Police responded to the 1800 block of Avenue D in regards to a terroristic threat. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.
*Approximately 9:45pm, a Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of 11th Street regarding a possible burglary of a habitation. After investigation, a report of criminal mischief was generated and the offense is under investigation.
Sunday, July 18
*At 2:36am, Brownwood Police responded to the 1600 block of Broadmoor for an agency assist with Guardian. According to police reports, an elderly female was found to be in poor living conditions and Adult Protective Services was contacted.
*Approximately 6:22pm, Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Cleburne in regard to a domestic disturbance. A report was generated and a criminal trespass warning was issued.
Monday, July 19
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Courtney 23-year-old Annette Ethridge for Driving While Intoxicated.
*Bangs Police Department arrested 20-year-old Bradley Duane Lee for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
