Law enforcement arrests and reports released Wednesday, July 17, 2014:

Thursday, July 17

*12:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of W. Commerce Street regarding the alleged sexual assault of a child.  A suspect had been identified in the case and Child Protective Services is involved in the investigation, the report states.

*7:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of Avenue B regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant advised that she was assaulted by a subject who had left prior to the officer’s arrival.  The other subject involved had not been located at the time of the report.

*7:24 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to W. County Road 411 regarding a possible domestic disturbance.  According to the report, although the male half stated that the argument was only verbal, the female half stated she had been pushed to the ground and slapped by the male.   The male, identified as 51-year-old James Lyle Green, then admitted to pushing the female and was arrested for assault family violence, the report states.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 34-year-old Christopher Lee Dunlap of San Angelo on charges of possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Katherine Leanne Edwards of Brownwood for terroristic threat.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 25-year-old Ronnie Pena of Brownwood on a surety withdrawal related to failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Shelby Lynn Strakos of Bangs on warrants related to motion to revoke/false report to police/law enforcement and motion to revoke/purchase furnish alcohol to minor.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Theodore Lindsey Swanson of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to maintain financial responsibility.

Friday, July 18

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Kelly Morgan Allison of Freestone, Texas on a Freestone County warrant related to assault causes bodily injury family violence.
