Tuesday, 7/13
*The City of Brownwood reported the theft of city property from a vacant lot in the area of the 700 block of Malone.
*Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Melwood regarding a domestic disturbance. Police reports state that when officers arrived, the victim was intoxicated and told police that she did not remember what happened or who assaulted her. A criminal trespass warning was issued during the investigation.
Wednesday, 7/14
*Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Belle Plain around 7am on a report of an unwanted person. This led to a subject being cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Thursday, 7/15
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 31-year-old Clois Montague of Bangs for DWI.
*Brownwood Police responded to a call from residents in the 2000 block of Avenue B who reported an intoxicated woman who was “ranting and raving” while staggering down the road the police report states. Police located the subject in an alleyway and arrested 53-year-old Terry Lee Stewart for Public Intoxication.
*Brownwood Police were called regarding a report of an assault causing injury. The victim reported bruising from the assault that occurred the previous day. The assault is currently under investigation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of unauthorized use of a debit card. The victim reported that someone was using her debit card to make multiple purchases on the internet.
Friday, 7/16
*Early Police arrested 42-year-old Clayton Dale Wilkins of Blanket and charged him with Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 <1 Gram; Tamper/Fabricate Evidence with Intent to Impede Investigation; and Resisting Arrest.
*Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce in the early morning hours Friday regarding an unwanted person. Police reports state that during the investigation, an officer observed a small pink baggie containing methamphetamine in plain sight. The subject identified at 53-year-old Daniel Lee Gentry of Brownwood was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 <1 Gram.
*Brownwood Police were called to the 7/11 convenience store located on Indian Creek Road regarding a possible intoxicated person. Police found the subject walking into an alleyway and was determined to be intoxicated police reports state. 20-year-old Dominic Richard Williams of Brownwood was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
