Friday, July 12
*9:13 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Main Blvd. regarding an animal bite. According to the report, the call led to a shot being fired at the dog. The dog was taken to the animal shelter and the owner was issued a citation, the report states.
*10:18 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding criminal mischief to a vehicle.
*5:56 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 8th Street regarding a civil problem. According to the report, the caller stated that her 14-year-old daughter was refusing to return home due to discipline issues. The daughter stated that her mother had allegedly pushed her down and hit her approximately 2-3 weeks prior, the report states.
*7:11 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that two subjects entered the residence of the listed address without permission. A witness was able to identify the subjects and the incident is being further investigated, the report states.
*7:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Stewart Street regarding possible drugs and narcotics. This call led to the arrest of 40-year-old Tammy Lucille Golden of Coleman for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, the report states.
*11:14 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of W. Commerce regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the juvenile suspect was arrested for assault with injury family violence and for resisting arrest, search or transport, and was taken to the Brownwood Juvenile Detention Center. 22-year-old Joel Adame of Lubbock was also arrested, charged with resisting arrest, search or transport and for driving while license invalid.
*55-year-old Nicki Dawn King was arrested by Brown County Sheriff’s Office on three indictments, including one for credit card abuse. King is being held in the Brown County Jail on bonds totaling $130,000.
*23-year-old Ross Edward McCoy of Angleton turned himself in on a warrant for money laundering.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 29-year-old Stacey Raquel Ruiz for Fraud.
* Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 42-year-old Stacy David Torres for driving while intoxicated.
*Santa Anna Police arrested 37-year-old Jacqueline Lea Valdez on multiple warrants related to two counts of possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, two counts of bail jumping and failure to appear (Comanche County), failure to identify fugitive, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and forgery (Taylor County).
Saturday, July 13
*12:50 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of W. Commerce regarding a hit and run.
*7:30 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of 6th Street and Avenue H. According to the report, the stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 19-year-old Reynaldo Mendoza for driving while license invalid with previous convictions and no insurance.
*10:11 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of N. Main Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, after an investigation was conducted, 19-year-old Shalee Riddles was arrested for assault causes bodily injury family violence. In addition, multiple parties were issued criminal trespass warnings for multiple addresses that are in the city of Brownwood.
*Early Police arrested 58-year-old Emilio Vasquez of Thrall, Texas for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sunday, July 14
*12:51 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1800 block of Avenue K regarding a violation. According to the report, the stop led to the arrest of 36-year-old Gilbert Trevino for driving while intoxicated.
*2:23 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue B regarding a stolen dog. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown subject stole his dog from his back yard.
*12:25 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Belle Plain regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, a female involved, identified as 22-year-old Erika Marie Holmes, was noted to have an active warrant for her arrest. Holmes resisted arrest and attempted to harm herself, according to the report, so she was secured in the patrol car until Guardian EMS arrived to check her injuries. As a result of the call, Holmes was arrested on the warrant and charged with assault causes bodily injury family violence and resist arrest or transport.
*3:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of W. Commerce regarding a hit and run. According to the report, the complainant stated that her right rear tail lamp assembly and the right front trim of her vehicle were damaged while parked at a local establishment. The damage, estimated at $300 to repair, was thought to have occurred between the hours of 10:30 PM on July 13th and 8:00 AM on July 14th.
*7:44 PM – Brownwood Police were responded to the 1600 block of Brady Avenue regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that her television and Playstation 3 had been stolen sometime between July 1 and this date. The television was being rented from Aaron’s and the complainant did not have any suspect information, the report states.
