Friday, July 10

*12:09 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of a hit and run accident which happened in the employee parking lot across from a business on FM 3254.  The incident occurred sometime between 7:55 a.m. and 4:35 p.m. on July 9th causing $2,000 damage to the complainant’s vehicle, the report states.

*12:40 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 237 regarding an assault which had occurred the previous night.  According to the report, the female stated that her finance had assaulted and took her cell phone so that she could not call for help.  The fiancée then left the residence and drove off in his vehicle, running over her right foot as she attempted to talk to him, the report states.  The victim did wish to pursue charges against the suspect, the report states.

Saturday, July 11

*10:12 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of credit card abuse.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person had used her credit card number.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of criminal mischief.  According to the report, known suspects had taken his vehicle for a drive and had returned it with a busted windshield.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a walk-in complaint regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her boyfriend had assaulted her and her sister had stolen 90 Xanax pills and $30 cash from her purse.

Sunday, July 12

*2:01 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 152 regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, an unknown person had destroyed the complainant’s mailbox.

Monday, July 13

*9:51 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant who stated someone had destroyed his mailbox which was located at the intersection of County Road 136 and Sherwood Drive while he was away on vacation.

*11:46 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding credit card abuse.  According to the report, an unknown person had made several charges with her debit card.

*2:18 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of credit card abuse.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had used her name and social security number to obtain a credit card without her consent.

*8:37 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding possible child abuse/neglect.  According to the report, two infants were left in a vehicle unattended.   This call led to a female subject being issued a citation for leaving child in a vehicle.

*6:18 PM – Brownwood Police responded to an accident at the intersection of Avenue K and Durham Avenue.  According to the report, two occupants of one of the vehicle, identified as 42-year-old Debra Kay Lowrey and 25-year-old Marcus McQuade Burnett (both of Brownwood), were found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana in a drug free zone.  Lowrey and Burnett were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Dustin Cates Baker of Bruceville, Texas on a warrant related to two counts of forgery.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Ricky Lynn Deaver of May regarding warrants related to violation of motor fuel tax requirement and a bench warrant.  Deaver was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $13,000 as of Tuesday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Fletcher Nathaniel Liggin II of San Angelo on a warrant related to failure to appear/assault causes bodily injury.  Liggin was being held in the Brown County Jail on a $15,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Bryan Jay Rodriguez of Brownwood regarding manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams, evading arrest detention with vehicle or watercraft and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Meghann Sharp of Brownwood on a warrant related to criminal mischief equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Tasia Antoinette Webb of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear/burglary of a habitation and failure to appear/aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.  Webb was being held in the Brown County Sheriff’s Office on bonds totaling $150,000.

Tuesday, July 14

*Early Police arrested 41-year-old Cynthia Dolores Marshall of Blanket on a warrant related to failure to appear.
