Thursday, July 10
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that a former tenant of the property returned to the property and allegedly stole two antique dressers.
*BCSO received a report via phone call from regarding the theft of a vehicle. According to the report, a female suspect had moved a vehicle and refused to return the vehicle. The complainant stated that the female had moved the vehicle and placed it behind a fence with a lock, the report states. The complainant also advised that the female had told him she had obtained the title from the owner, and it was her vehicle now.
Friday, July 11
*11:08 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 800 block of Avenue A to assist City of Brownwood Code Enforcement employees with a code violation at a residence at this location. According to the report, during the investigation, the homeowner 43-year-old Jennifer Darlene Jolly of Brownwood was identified and found to be in possession of a quantity of medication without a prescription. Jolly was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone, the report states.
*1:11 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of W Commerce regarding a reckless driver. According to the report, a black tractor truck pulling a flat bed trailer was failing to maintain a single lane. The truck was stopped for a traffic violation and the driver, identified as 51-year-old Robert Thomas Johnson of Hurst, was arrested for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction, the report states.*11:07 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 green Ford F150 at the intersection of 3rd Street and Coggin Avenue in Brownwood. According to the report, the occupants of the vehicle were identified as 23-year-old Hilary Janael Lee-Millican of Odessa, 23-year-old Gary Daniel Hollis of Rising Star and 20-year-old Summer Paige Sanders of May. Hollis was the driver, the report states. During the course of the stop, reasonable suspicion was obtained due to nervous behavior and the BCSO K-9 unit was called and alerted to the vehicle. Upon conducting the probable cause search, 7 small plastic baggies, 1 plastic vile containing a total approximately 7 grams of methamphetamine without packaging, and 1 glass meth pipe with heavy residue of methamphetamine were located. A firearm was also located inside of the center console the vehicle. Due to the location the baggies and vile, along with all 3 subjects denying knowledge or ownership of the contraband, Lee, Hollis and Sanders were all arrested for manufacture or delivery of controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams in a drug free zone (because the vehicle was located within 1000 feet of the youth activity center at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church). Hollis was additionally charged with unlawful carrying of weapon due to his being in control of the vehicle and the firearm being located in the console which was within his reach, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the possible theft of an electric meter. According to the report, a deputy met with the complainant at the residence on Rocky Lane and noted that the meter was gone; however, the meter base had been covered and locked with an Oncor lock. The deputy did find that the wire which had provided electricity to one of the two mobile homes had been cut and was missing, the report states. The complainant reported that the meter on the other home on the property also had signs of tampering, which could be seen at the bottom of the service panel, the deputy reported. The cut wires had been a cable providing electricity to a small shed on the property and the total value of the stolen copper wire is estimated at $593.00, according to the report.
* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Misty Michelle Dewell of Brownwood on warrants related to motion to revoke/false report to police, a surety withdrawal – possession of marijuana, surety withdrawal – failure to appear.
*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Crystal Rachelle Galloway of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Donald Allan McCullough of Brownwood on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*35-year-old Marvin Don Thompson of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
Saturday, July 12
*2:03 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Miller Drive regarding the theft of property. According to the report, a witness advised that a male subject stole an item that belonged to the Brownwood Nursing and Rehab Center.
*2:09 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had been removing parts from her Moped and causing additional damage, scratches to the paint and plastic fairings. Three possible suspects have been named, the report states.
*2:15 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.
*5:31 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 6th Street regarding theft.
*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Michael James Bass of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
*Early Police arrested 27-year-old Maggie Beth Coy of Bangs for driving while intoxicated.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 57-year-old Terry Diann Whisenhunt of Mullin on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while license invalid.
Sunday, July 13
*4:19 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in progress Sunday afternoon at a residence on Thunderbird Drive near Lake Brownwood which resulted in the arrest of two people.
According to the report, the complainant stated that she had been living with her fiancé at the residence for approximately 3 months, and that at approximately 4 p.m. this date, her ex-mother-in-law Lisa Moore, ex-father-in-law Jeffrey Moore and another female pulled up to her residence while she was sitting in her vehicle outside of the residence, according to the deputy’s report.
Mrs. Moore exited the vehicle and advised the complainant to pack her things and get off of her property, the report states. An argument ensued, as the property actually belongs to the complainant’s fiancé’s grandmother, the report states. The complainant stated that Mrs. Moore then began to cuss at and punch her, tried to take away her cell phone, breaking her charger, according to the report. The complainant stated that Mrs. Moore then returned to her vehicle, where she pulled out a pistol, loaded it and then allegedly pointed it at the complainant and threatened her life.
After interviewing all parties involved, Mrs. Moore admitted that she was kicking the complainant out of the property and that she did try to take her phone; however, she denied having been involved in a physical altercation and stated that she did not believe there was any gun in the vehicle, the report states. Talking with Mr. Moore, the other deputy advised that Mr. Moore had admitted that there was a firearm in the vehicle that he had placed into an ammo box in the bed of the truck’s tool box so that the complainant would not be able to use it while the two females were fighting, the report states. He appeared very nervous and was believed to be lying to the deputy while giving the information above, the deputy reported. A witness present stated that she had seen the two women fighting but that she had not seen a gun, the report states.
Lisa Moore was placed under arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family violence and criminal mischief. 51-year-old Jeffrey Lynn Moore was also arrested for hiding the gun prior to the deputy’s arrival and charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. Upon searching Moore’s purse, incident to arrest, a box of Winchester 0.25 auto rounds with 40 rounds inside of it was located, which matched the gun located during the incident, the report states.
*5:08 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding three subjects who were being detained for theft. An investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Scott Tiberias Johnson of Brownwood, 18-year-old Makayla Rynn Stephens of Brownwood, and a male juvenile for engaging in organized criminal activity, the report states.
*5:09 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Avenue K regarding an assault. According to the report, a male subject was found to have been assaulted by another male. The suspect was identified and the incident was documented, the report states.
*9:24 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a Cisco, TX Police Officer, who stated he had located stolen property on 2 males he had in custody. According to the report, Cisco PD advised that 2 male subjects had admitted to stealing items from inside of a recreational vehicle. The BCSO officer went to the location provided by Cisco PD and identified the owners of the RV who live out of state. According to the deputy’s report, the owner could not definitively describe any items in her RV, but stated she would return at a later date and provide BCSO with a detailed list of the items stolen. The owner also stated she would like to pursue charges against the subjects, the report states. Cisco Police Department took possession of the stolen items and kept them in their evidence room for safe keeping. The amount of stolen items is unknown at this time according to the report.
*9:24 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s hours, I was dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding animal bite. According to the report, the complainant stated that she had been bitten on the back of her right leg by a dog in the 4700 block of County Road 261 in Zephyr. The owner of the dog was contacted and the dog was quarantined, the report states. A citation was served, and photos of evidence were taken, according to the report.
*11:15 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 800 block of W. Commerce regarding an assault. According to the report, BPD was advised by dispatch of an individual at the Coleman County Hospital emergency room needing a call regarding an assault that had occurred in Brownwood. The victim stated that she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend earlier this date and that she does want to pursue criminal charges, the report states.
*44-year-old Timothy Charles Seider of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to motion to revoke/self surrender.
Monday, July 14
*Brownwood Police arrested 35-year-old Christina Reyes Moreno f Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of service equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
