Monday, July 11
*8:34 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of 4th Street regarding theft. According to the report, three bicycles were stolen from the property. A suspect has been identified, the report states.
Tuesday, July 12
*9:34 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant regarding a case of theft. According to the report, while the complainant was out of town for work, her common-law spouse stole several of her personal items, including a firearm, and then moved out.
*11:36 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding theft. According to the report, a known suspect concealed merchandise in a bag and attempted to leave the business without paying for the merchandise. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*3:12 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an assault at a campsite at Lake Brownwood. According to the report, a female subject stated that she was assaulted by her boyfriend when he spit on her.*7:08 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Almond Street regarding criminal mischief and criminal trespassing. According to the report, a male suspect had trespassed on the property and destroyed property including clay pots and a wind chime while at the residence.
*8:20 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Stewart Street. According to the report, as a result of this stop, 33-year-old Frank William Brummett was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone and for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.
*9:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Avenue B regarding a report of shots fired in the area. Officers arrived and located five shell casings and the incident was documented.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to S. Broadway, Blanket, TX 76432 regarding the theft of three chairs from the complainant’s backyard. According to the report, the offense occurred sometime between 6:00 p.m. on the previous day and 5:30 this date.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Treilyn Nelson James of Brownwood for theft from person.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 23-year-old Derek Licea of Comanche for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Courtney Hudson Lockett of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance not in a penalty group.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Brandi Nicole McDaniel of Brownwood on a surety withdrawal related to delivery of a controlled substance. McDaniel was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.
*32-year-old Jonathan O’Donnell of Zephyr, Texas turned himself in on a warrant.
*51-year-old Mark Kevin Pierson of Brownwood on warrants related to two counts of uncollected solid waste, open storage, and tall grass and weeds.
Wednesday, July 13
*3:12 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Brady Avenue regarding criminal mischief.
