Friday, July 10
*7:09 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a hit and run accident in the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin.
*10:08 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Market Place Blvd. regarding theft. According to the report, the general manager of the business reported that an employee had stolen $100 from the register. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*2:52 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of Austin Avenue and Melwood Street regarding a suspicious person. According to the report, two individuals had observed a male subject walking into vehicles and walking strangely. As a result of this call, 30-year-old Jimmy Wayne Sellers, Jr. of Brownwood was arrested for public intoxication, possess use inhale/ingest volatile chemical, and resisting arrest, the report states.
*4:31 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2700 block of 1st Street regarding theft.
*7:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Hawkins Street regarding criminal mischief. A window of a vehicle had been damaged by a pellet gun, the report states.*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 19-year-old Laura Angelica Arredondo of Brownwood on warrants related to motion to revoke/criminal mischief and criminal trespass.
*Brownwood Police arrested 36-year-old Stephanie Naomi Sanchez of Brady on warrants related to no driver’s license, violate promise to appear, and tow unregistered trailer.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 61-year-old Waynie Lee Rogers Wolfe of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/aggravated assault with deadly weapon. Wolfe was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bond as of Monday morning.
Saturday, July 11
*12:19 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Durham Avenue. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 18-year-old Juan Vasquez of Austin for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone as well as display/present/possess an operator/ID license issued to another. One other adult and one juvenile were issued citations for possession of drug paraphernalia and were released at the scene, the report states.
*6:42 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the call was related to an alarm activation in reference to broken glass.
*7:52 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1700 block of Durham Avenue regarding alleged child child abuse/neglect. According to the report, a complainant stated that she had found a little girl walking around the neighborhood and did not know where she belonged. Further investigation led to the arrest of 23-year-old Gabrielle Timmons of Brownwood for child abuse/neglect, the report states. Timmons was released on $10,000 bond.
*8:09 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Crockett Drive, the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room, regarding a disorderly person. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 19-year-old Gino Valadez of Brownwood for public intoxication.
*12:48 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding disorderly conduct. An incident of assault by threat was investigated, the report states.
*2:59 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding fraud. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone took money from his bank account in the amount of $28.95. The investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*3:01 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, items stolen included $25 cash, sunglasses, three packs of cigarettes, and a Lonesome Dove DVD. The incident is pending further investigation, the report states.
*10:22 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of 6th Street regarding a hit and run accident.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 17-year-old Matthew Evans Birdwell of Cedar Park, Texas for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 less than 1 gram. Birdwell was released on bonds totaling $6,000.
*Early Police arrested 32-year-old Jacinda Daniell Gordon of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft over $1500 less than $20,000.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 18-year-old Benjamin Paul Jacobs of Cedar Park for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Alexander Jose Martinez of Brownwood on a parole violation.
Sunday, July 12
*2:15 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 700 block of Gifford Street regarding speeding. As a result of this stop, the driver, 34-year-old Jon Aaron White of Brownwood was arrested for driving while intoxicated 2nd and for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction.
*7:25 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of 7th Street regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, the victim stated that a known subject entered his home uninvited and assaulted him.
*9:34 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Lackey Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 26-year-old Daniel Mikeal Warlick of Brownwood for assault with injury family violence.
*39-year-old Ronnie Glen Blaine, Jr. of Comanche was arrested on warrants related to driving while license invalid and bail jumping and failure to appear.
*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Devon Jason Montemayor of Brownwood on two warrants related to no driver’s license.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Sheila Ann Willett of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury.
Monday, July 13
*12:35 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1100 block of Holcomb Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, a purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at the location.
*Early Police arrested 50-year-old Maria Delores Robledo of Early for burglary of a vehicle and public intoxication.
