Wednesday, July 8
*1:44 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Brady Avenue regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant had gotten her belongings back from the suspect; however, she still wished to pursue charges.
*4:03 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a report of disorderly conduct. According to the report, a male subject had attempted to pull an elderly individual off of a 4-wheel utility vehicle. As a result of this call, a report for injury to elderly was completed and one male was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment for his injuries, the report states.
Thursday, July 9
*8:35 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 6th Street regarding a hit and run.
*10:26 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Malone Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.*3:07 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of W. Austin Avenue and Beaver Street regarding criminal mischief over $50 less than $500.
*5:45 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding a civil matter. According to the report, an incident of domestic violence had occurred and a suspect identified. As a result of this call, 33-year-old Stephanie Renea Baker of Brownwood was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family violence.
*11:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Southside Drive regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, three storage units had been broken into. The locks were cut and laying on the ground and the doors were also open to the units, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Katherine Leanne Edwards of Abilene on warrants related to failure to appear/terroristic threat, motion to adjudicate/duty on striking fixture, motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance. Edwards was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $17,000 as of Friday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Rebekah Kathleen Kennedy of Grand Prairie on warrants related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and on a surety withdrawal/ possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram. Kennedy was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $120,000 as of Friday morning.
*Early Police arrested 37-year-old Jamie Daniels Martinez of Brownwood on a Guadalupe County warrant related to theft of property more than $20 less than $500.
*Early Police arrested 53-year-old Porfirio Salazar of Brownwood on a Comanche County warrant related to failure to appear/motion for enforcement.
*Brownwood Police arrested 64-year-old George Britt White, Jr. on a parole warrant.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Tina Marie Wilson of Brownwood on warrants related to surety withdrawals for tamper/fabricate physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
Friday, July 10
*1:27 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of South US Hwy 377 and Coleman Street. According to the report, the officer observed the vehicle speeding and drifting erratically back and forth across the lane of traffic. This stop led to the arrest of 35-year-old Zane Zabel of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated 1st.
