Thursday, July 4
*12:20 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy took a report of theft of livestock and criminal trespass from a property owner in the area of County Roads 147 and 146. According to the report, a known subject had entered the lease property with hunting dogs and the dogs killed a calf and wounded a cow. The subject did not have permission to enter the property, the report states.
*11:01 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Avenue E regarding an assault that had already occurred. The complainant stated that his landlord assaulted him after an argument which started after the complainant set off some fireworks.
Friday, July 5
*12:14 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding a citizens’ dispute. According to the report, several subjects were standing in the parking lot when the officer arrived. After speaking with all parties involved, one of the subjects told the officer that she wished to pursue charges, the report states.
*12:19PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of Magnolia and 4th Street regarding an assault. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with all parties involved and only one subject wished to pursue charges, the report states.
Saturday, July 6
*4:32 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to Park Road 15 regarding an assault that had just occurred. According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her after an argument and that she had gotten out of the vehicle at this location. The suspect had fled the scene prior to the deputy’s arrival and had not been located at the time of the report, according to the deputy’s report.
Monday, July 8
*6:28PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Avenue A regarding an unsecured dog that was not being taken care of. The owner of the dog was identified but could not be located and the dog was taken to the animal shelter, the report states.
*11:23 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Belfast Drive regarding a burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that several items were missing from inside her residence. The items were valued at approximately $14,000, the report states.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on West U.S. Hwy 67 in Bangs regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had gone into his unlocked recreational vehicle without his consent and removed several items.
Tuesday, July 9
*12:43 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on Belfast Drive regarding a prowler.
*11:00 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Main Street regarding an agency assist. According to the report, a clerk advised the officer responding that she believed a man was wearing a device containing urine to falsify the drug test results. After investigating, 55-year-old Timmy Denbow was arrested for false drug test falsification device.
*1:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Malone Street regarding criminal mischief to a vehicle and residence. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person had damaged the homeowner’s vehicle and entered the property without consent and damaged the interior of the residence and outbuildings.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to W. Main Blvd. regarding animal cruelty. According to the report, the complainant stated that a vehicle had purposely hit his dog. The suspect is unknown at this time.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Gabriel Louis Hinojosa on an indictment for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Stephen Scott Lawhon of Quittman for bail jumping/failure to appear-DWI 2nd.
*Brownwood Police arrested 42-year-old Destiny Mayfield-Daniels on a warrant related to motion to revoke possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 29-year-old Michael Lee McAnn on a warrant for failure to maintain financial responsibility.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Bryan Dee Penn II on a warrant for motion to revoke/racing on highway.
Wednesday, July 10
*12:28 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the complainant stated that his wife assaulted him and he fled the scene. The suspect could not be located at the time of the report.
*3:00 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a residence on Belfast Drive regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that her television was stolen while she was away from the residence for two days.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Heather Nicole Caudill on several indictments and warrants related to two counts of possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram; two counts of bail jumping and failure to appear; possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces; and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.
