Tuesday, June 28
*9:59 AM –Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a property on County Road 569 regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, the victim advised that several items, valued at approximately $320, were taken.
*Brown County Sheriff’s office received a report of terroristic threat. According to the report, a male subject reported that he was the victim of a terroristic threat when his neighbor confronted him over the use of a private road easement next to his property. The complainant stated that his neighbor threatened to commit violence against the complainant’s property and that the confrontation placed the complainant in fear of bodily injury.
Wednesday, June 29
*4:42 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1900 block of US Hwy 377 South. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 20-year-old Henry Rivas of Brownwood for failure to identify, driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.
*7:00 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Broadmoor Circle regarding the theft of a motorcycle. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.*12:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Indian Creek Drive regarding theft. According to the report, a suspect, identified as Kory Lee Haines of Brownwood, was identified and later located a few blocks from the scene. Haines was arrested and charged with theft less than $100 and public intoxication. The stolen property was not recovered, the report states.
*3:28 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence in the May area regarding a disturbance involving a firearm. At this location, the victim and her son had been attempting to get property from the house she was moving from. According to the report, during the process, her soon-to-be ex-husband and his new girlfriend arrived on scene. It was reported that during the altercation the soon-to-be ex-husband and his girlfriend brandished firearms, the report states. Due to differing versions of the events reported to the deputy regarding the incident and lack of corroborating evidence and information, both sides of the situation were separated and 1 firearm was seized as evidence, according to law enforcement.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Frankie Barbee of Slaton, Texas on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces. Barbee was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $18,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Bangs Police arrested 30-year-old Alberto Cantu of Bangs, Texas on warrants related to credit card/debit card abuse and surety withdrawal/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1. Cantu was released on $10,000 bond.
*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Jason Michael Morgan of Brownwood for driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension/without financial responsibility.
Thursday, June 30
*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Chadstity Richardson of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1.
*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Caitlin Victoria Thomas of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1, driving while license invalid, and failure to appear/bail jumping.
*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Jardarius Deqeun Williams of Brownwood for injury to a child/elderly/disabled with intent bodily harm. Williams was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Early Police arrested 27-year-old Obadiah Mendoza of Early for failure to identify fugitive intentionally give false information.
*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Terence Moffett of Rochelle, Texas for theft of material aluminum/bronze/copper/brass less than $20,000 enhanced.
*Brownwood Police arrested 44-year-old Margarita Rodriguez of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
*Early Police arrested 26-year-old Stevie Lee Rose of Brownwood for failure to identify.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Shelley Beth Schafer of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and on warrants related to four counts of forgery of a financial instrument.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Daniel Wesley Smith of Rockwood, Texas on a warrant. Smith was released on a $10,000 bond.
Friday, July 1
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Albert Lynn Gregory of Abilene for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than or equal to 4 grams less than 200 grams, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams and unlawful carrying weapon.
*Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 43-year-old James William King of Zephyr for unlawful restraint and assault by contact family violence.
