Thursday, June 5

* 10:25 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched the report of a horse running loose among traffic N Hwy 279.  The deputy located a horse in an unfenced pasture in the area, where he tied it to a tree, securing him while he attempted to locate an owner, the report states.  The deputy attempted to contact several residences in the area; however, he and dispatchers were unsuccessful in locating any owner information, according to the deputy’s report.  The horse was transported to the county pen at the Law Enforcement Center, the report states.

Friday, June 6

*6:54 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.  The complainant stated that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend, the report states.

*8:30 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3500 block of Rhodes Road regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a female subject advised that she had been assaulted by a male subject when she went to pick up her kids.  The female wished to pursue charges against the suspect, the report states.

*1:58 PM – Brownwood Police responded to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of Alexis Gonzalez and Nicole Gravitt, both 17 and both of Brownwood, for theft greater than $50 less than $500.

*6:55 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Crothers Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a female stated that she was assaulted by her husband.  According to the report, the suspect was not able to be located for an interview at the time of the report.

*11:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Greenway Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, both parties had injuries; however neither party wished to pursue charges and the disturbance was settled by separation of the parties involved.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 19-year-old Cheyenne Dakota Batt of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear and theft.

*Brownwood Police arrested 56-year-old Vincent Hugh Monson of Brownwood for public intoxication.

*Early Police arrested 49-year-old Maria Delores Robledo of Early on warrants related to fail to give information/render aid and fail to maintain single lane.

Saturday, June 7

*7:17 Am – Brownwood Police responded to the 1000 block of Avenue I regarding a burglary.  According to the report, sometime during the night, an unknown suspect entered the complainant’s recreational vehicle through an unlocked door and several electronic items were taken without the owner’s consent.

*4:42 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of illegal dumping of a couch on the side of the roadway by a home near Sherwood Dr and CR 136 in Bangs.

*5:35 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, two male subjects were caught shoplifting by a loss prevention employee.  This call led to citations for theft being issued to the two males, which were then released from the scene.

*7:31 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Green River Road regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his step-father, identified as 66-year-old Joe Ed Paul of Brownwood, had an active arrest warrant and was no longer welcome at the residence.  The deputy made contact with Paul and after checking his identifying information, was advised by dispatch that Paul did have an active arrest warrant out of Texas Pardon and Parole, the report states.  After the warrant was confirmed, Paul was searched incident to arrest which led to the discovery of a plastic bag containing marijuana in his left front pocket, according to the deputy’s report.  Paul was arrested for the warrant, and additionally charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 28-year-old Christopher Reynolds of Magnolia for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Sunday, June 8

*2:49 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the apartment manager stated that someone had struck the front fence of the apartment complex.  Criminal charges were being pursued, the report states.

*6:37 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, Juan Jose Castillo and Vallerie Neal, both 18 and both of Brownwood, were arrested for theft greater than $50 less than $500.

*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Gabriel Chico Campos, Jr. of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/theft greater than $1500 less than $20,000.

*Bangs Police arrested 19-year-old Jessica Christine Hardaway of Bangs for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Juan Gonzales Robles, Jr. of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Jackson Brook Weekley of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone.
