*1:15 PM – A male subject turned in a purple tackle box as found property to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office. The tackle box was found on Hwy 67 just west of Brownwood, the report states.
Monday, June 1
*10:22 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4400 block of Danhil Drive regarding the report of a scam.
*1:24 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 500 block of Main Street regarding theft. According to the report, a subject walked into a liquor store and stole a bottle of rum from the business.
*2:53 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of 8th Street regarding a domestic disturbance involving an assault.
Tuesday, June 2
*10:20 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding an assault. According to the report, a female victim stated she had been assaulted by her boyfriend who had allegedly thrown a tape measure at her. Injuries were observed on the female, the report states. This call led to the arrest of 47-year-old Scotty Paul Brantley of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury family violence.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Elizabeth Marie Ouchi of Graford, Texas for theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500 and on a surety withdrawal related to motion to adjudicate/abandon endanger child criminal negligence. Ouchi was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $1,000,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Jeremy Reese Sauseda of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
Wednesday, June 3
*4:31 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Phillips Drive regarding the theft of a credit/debit card. According to the report, a suspect has been identified.
*Bangs Police arrested 36-year-old Lillian Baker of Bangs for disorderly conduct and resist arrest.
*Early Police arrested 23-year-old Ashley Lynn Franklin-Fulcher of Bangs for public intoxication.
*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old Lucy Ann Ogden of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance not in a penalty group/failure to appear. Ogden was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $40,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.
