Friday, May 31

*11:30 AM – The Brownwood City Marshal noticed a male driver not wearing his seat belt and made a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Austin Avenue.  According to the report, the driver identified himself as Chad Hatchett and was recognized by the marshal as having warrants through municipal court.   35-year-old Michael Chad Hatchett was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous convictions and four warrants related to theft of property by check $20-500, violate promise to appear, expired motor vehicle inspection and violate promise to appear.

*6:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart, 401 W. Commerce, regarding criminal trespass.  According to the report, the call led to the arrest of 44-year-old Amy Grady for criminal trespass.

*11:48 PM – Brownwood Police officer made a traffic stop in the 2500 block of 14th Street.  According to the report, the driver, identified as 29-year-old Brandon Gray of Bangs, was arrested on three outstanding municipal court warrants.  While inventorying the vehicle before it was towed, 3.2 grams of marijuana was located inside the vehicle along with a digital scale and cigarette rolling papers, the report states.  Gray was charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and for the four warrants.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 62-year-old Mickenzie Ann Carter of May for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old William Dewayne Covington of Austin on two warrants related to no driver’s license and failure to appear.

*Brownwood Police arrested 34-year-old Bobby Joe Dudley on a warrant for a parole violation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Alyssa Renee Gloria on a warrant related to parent contributing to non-attendance.

Saturday, June 1

*2:24 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 700 block of Coleman Street regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, the complainant stated that one of his storage buildings was broken into along with a vehicle that he had been working on and several items were taken without his permission.

*8:31 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Penn Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the suspect entered through an unlocked door and took a yellow Dewalt impact drill.

*10:11 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Clements regarding theft.  According to the report, the offense of debit card abuse was committed on three occasions at the location.  At the time of the report, the suspect was unknown.

*1:40 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block o f Milton regarding theft.  According to the report, two subjects were seen inside the convenience store acting suspicious.  One of the suspects was seen placing beef jerky down the back of her pants and leaving without paying, the report states.

*4:01 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of San Benito regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, a suspect was identified as a white male, approximately 5’ 6”-5’7”, thin build with a tattoo on the right forearm, a pierced right eyebrow and short cropped black hair.  Entry was made through an unlocked driver’s door, the report states.

*5:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, one man was in custody and after an investigation; the male was issued a citation and released.

*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Kyle Burrows on two warrants (out of Nevada) for failure to appear related to three counts of burglary.  Burrows is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $150,000.

*Bangs Police arrested 50-year-old Steven Trevino of Bangs on a warrant for failure to appear related to driving while license invalid.

*Brownwood Police arrested 36-year-old Ronnie Lee Massey for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Nicholas Allen Slatton, Jr. for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*23-year-old Casey Brieghann Tyson of Early turned herself in on a warrant related to engage in organized crime.  She was held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bond as of Monday morning.

Sunday, June 2

*11:04 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3400 block of US Hwy 377S regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, a trespass warning was issued to the subject.

*2:29 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 800 block of Norwood Street regarding a utility problem.  According to the report, a City of Brownwood fire hydrant was broken at the base and lying in the ditch.  Water had been flowing from the hydrant into the ditch, but had been turned off prior to the officer’s arrival, the report states.

*7:55 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding criminal mischief.

*10:08 PM – A Brownwood Police officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle for driving with no headlights.  After an investigation was conducted, the passenger of the vehicle, identified as 42-year-old Destiny Daniels aka Destiny Mayfield, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone, the report states.

*11:01 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Clements Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant was assaulted by his son who was still on scene.  The incident led to the arrest of 23-year-old Parker Jerryme Taylor of Rising Star for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old James Virgil Lowe, Jr. of Bangs for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Monday, June 3

*1:29 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1800 block of Melwood regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the caller had seen three subjects burglarizing a vehicle in the area.  According to the report, the subjects ran when the caller confronted them and were not located at the time of the report.
