Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Monday, June 28, 2010.

Tuesday, June 22

*At 12:29pm, Brownwood Police responded to the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, money was stolen out of the vehicle.

*At 8:59am, Brownwood Police were called regarding criminal mischief, which was an overnight egging of a vehicle in the 2100 block of 14th Street according to the report.

Friday, June 25

*At 6:11pm, Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 2nd Street.  According to the report, evidence and statements from the victims led to the arrest of the suspect, 22-year-old Thomas Pinchback, for Assault by Threat.

*Approximately 11:00am Brownwood Police responded to a report of a purse being stolen from a woman while she assisted in a garage sale.

*At 4:30pm, the Brownwood Police responded to a call regarding the theft of an air compressor taken from the back porch of a residence in the 3400 block of Golding Road according to the report.

*Brownwood Police responded to a call regarding the theft of a cell phone at 4:49pm in the 600 block of Oak Street.

*At 9:14pm, Brownwood Police received a report of Criminal Mischief to a vehicle.  According to the report, the driver’s side window had been struck by a BB or pellet causing the window to break.

*Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of 1st Street in reference to an assault.  Upon their arrival, officers found evidence that an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon had occurred.  A juvenile was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Probation Office according to the report.

Saturday, June 26

*Bangs Police arrested 24-year-old Charles Henry Hull for Assault on a Public Servant; Resisting Arrest; Evading Arrest Causing Bodily Injury; Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He is held on bonds totaling $90,000.

*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Jimmy Summit for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz.

*Brownwood Police responded to a call regarding found property.  A 21-speed bicycle had been abandoned next to an apartment in the 2100 block of Slayden.  The owner may claim the bicycle at the Brownwood Police Department with proper identification of the bicycle.

Sunday, June 27

*At 2:59pm, Brownwood Police made a traffic stop that led to the  arrest of 19-year-old Michelle Cooper for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 1, Less than 1 gram, in a Drug Free Zone.

*Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Temple regarding criminal mischief to a vehicle.  According to the report, the front two tires were flattened with an unknown tool.  No suspects or arrests as of the time of the report.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 20-year-old Christopher Diaz for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 1, equal or greater than 1 gram and less than 4 grams and Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz.  He is being held on bonds totaling $40,000.

*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Ronald Wayne Harris for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or more; Flee Scene of Accident >=$200; and Reckless Driving.

*Brownwood Police received a report of a found bicycle in the 1800 Block of Avenue B.  The owner may claim it at the Brownwood Police Department.  It is currently being held as found property.

Monday, June 28

*At 1:32 am, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Bailey regarding an assault.  Upon arriving and investigation, it was determined that family violence had occurred.  A suspect was located in the 2600 block of Vine and after investigation, the suspect identified as 21-year-old Bobby Preston Evans was arrested for Assault Family Violence by Strangulation.

*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Caliscia Monea Slaughter for Disorderly Conduct by Fighting.

*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Minnie Franklin Thompson for Public Intoxication; Disorderly Conduct by Fighting; and Disorderly Conduct Profane Language.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
