Wednesday, June 25
*10:31 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 600 block of Hendricks in reference to a possible sexual assault. The complainant told police that she had been assaulted by an unknown Hispanic man.
*10:52 AM – Brownwood Police received a report that a Brownwood woman’s credit card had been used in Odessa, TX without her consent.
Thursday, June 26
*11:06 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4000 block of 4th Street regarding theft. The complainant told police that someone entered his yard and stole his bicycle.
*12:30 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 600 block of 5th Street regarding aggravated robbery. The complainant said several items including his cell phone and wallet were taken.
*5:00 PM – Brownwood Police received a phone report regarding theft. The complainant told police that a ring was stolen.
*6:30 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding a hit and run accident. The victim said that his vehicle had been struck by a black Ford pickup that was leaving the area after having an argument with subject in the area.
*8:47 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the alleyway behind a residence in the 1000 block of Avenue I regarding a possible assault. A secondary call came to police in the 1000 block of Avenue H regarding another assault. Both calls were determined to be related to each other, the report states. Officers issued a criminal trespass warning to one subject.
*8:55 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1800 block of Austin Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. The report states that as the officer arrived, a woman was seen running to the back of the residence and banging on the door. The female subject, identified as 18-year-old Hallie Shae Crouch, failed to comply with the officer’s instructions and was detained for safety, the report states. The officer noted in the report that the suspect remained uncooperative as attempts were made to secure her in the patrol unit. After an investigation of the report of domestic disturbance, police arrested Crouch on three counts of assault causing bodily injury, resist arrest, consuming alcohol by a minor (3rd – enhanced), and injury to a disabled person. The police report states that the suspect is accused of injuring her disabled mother and in the process of being removed from the house, assaulting two other family members.
*11:37 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding a domestic disturbance. After a brief investigation, police determined that a 13-year-old male had assaulted his 13-year-old sister. The male was arrested and charged with assault family violence.
*Early Police arrested Melanie Groves, 56 of Brownwood, for DWI.
*Bangs Police arrested 25-year-old Britteny Henderson of Santa Anna for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.
*Texas DPS arrested 58-year-old Shirley Ann Phillips of Brownwood for DWI – 2nd.
Friday, June 27
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Adam Lewis Bolden of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance, assault with bodily injury family violence, interfering with emergency call and violate protective order.
*Early Police arrested Laura Marie Fry, 37 of Brownwood, for DWI.
