Monday, June 24

*4:40 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a property on County Road 203 regarding animal cruelty.  According to the report, the deputy located 5 horses and 2 donkeys which appeared to be malnourished.  The owners have been contacted and a report filed for animal cruelty, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an assault.  According to the report, the male subject stated that he was assaulted by three unknown males while at the State Park with his girlfriend and her children.

Tuesday, June 25

*1:48 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of S US Hwy 377 regarding hindering a secured creditor.  According to the report, the suspect had allegedly signed a contract to purchase a vehicle in October of 2012; however, has failed to make payments on the purchase and has prevented the creditor from repossessing the vehicle.

*4:33 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1700 block of Magnolia regarding an assault.  According to the report, after the assault had occurred, the suspect left the scene in a white four door car.  An investigation was complete and a report made for assault family violence by strangulation and criminal mischief greater than $50 less than $500 and theft greater than $50 less than $500.

*5:33 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding an assault which had occurred in May of this year.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a certified nursing assistant had struck her with an open hand on her shoulder.

*6:33 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding identity theft.  According to the report, someone had used the complainant’s social security card to purchase two credit card readers.

*6:42 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 200 block of W. Commerce, Sonic Drive-In, regarding a hit and run.  According to the report, the driver in one of the vehicles involved in the accident fled the scene.  During the investigation, the subject who fled the scene was located and confessed to his involvement in the incident.

*9:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Cottage Street regarding a juvenile problem.  According to the report, the complainant advised he had been in a verbal confrontation with his niece.  The complainant, niece and the niece’s mother were all issued criminal trespass warnings from each other’s residences.

*Brownwood Police arrested 58-year-old Thomas Joseph Aulmann on a Mills County warrant for motion to revoke/theft by check.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Victor R. Bastardo, Jr. on an indictment for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

*Early Police arrested 62-year-old Robert Danner of Cross Plains for public intoxication.

*38-year-old Joseph Lynn Hight turned himself in on a Lampasas County warrant for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Anthony Thomas Lumpkin on a Wichita County warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
