Wednesday, June 22
*10:07 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a grocery store on Hwy 279 regarding a fraudulent check and an investigation was started.
*11:21 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, a 14K gold ring was stolen from the residence. A photo of the ring was obtained and the incident was documented, the report states.
*2:36 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a local nursery owner who reported one of his employees had crashed one of his ATVs resulting in apparent serious injuries. According to the report, a second employee, who was on another ATV, was also involved in the crash but did not have any injuries.
*5:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Main Blvd. regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, an investigation led to the arrest of 57-year-old Danny Reece Hopkins for assault family/household member with previous conviction.
*Brown County Sherriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Lyraa Ann Klaus of Brownwood on warrants related to motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and unlawful possession of firearm by felon (Comanche County).*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53-year-old David Lee Randle of Brownwood on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 3/4 less than 28 grams.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Terry Lynn Taylor of Santa Anna on a warrant related to theft – aggravated.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Schuyler Cadell Williams of Arlington, Texas on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 37-year-old Roberta Juanita Wright of Brownwood on a warrant for an unvaccinated animal.
Thursday, June 23
*2:57 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Avenue B regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, an investigation determined that 35-year-old Timothy Knox had assaulted his roommate and then fled the residence. He was located a short distance from the residence and arrested for assault causes bodily injury family/house member 2 or more incidents within past 12 months.
*3:14 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.
*3:43 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3200 block of Milam Drive regarding theft. According to the report, a female complainant stated she had left her iPhone in a bag on a table near the pool area while she was in the pool and when she returned, she found her phone was missing. The phone was valued at approximately $700. The theft occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. this date, the report states.
*Early Police arrested 21-year-old Hunter Shae Blankinship of Bangs on warrants related to no driver’s license and no seat belt.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Shawn Lee Davidson of Brownwood on warrants related to violate promise to appear, two counts of open container in motor vehicle MCSR-driver, failure to appear, and on surety withdrawals for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone and tamper/fabricate physical evidence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Stephanie Renee Lopez of Comanche on a warrant related to failure to appear/theft enhanced. Lopez was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond as of Friday morning.
*Brownwood Police arrested 60-year-old James Robinson, Jr. on a warrant for assault family/household member impede breath/circulation. Robinson was later released on $30,000 bond.
Friday, June 24
*12:49 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop at the intersection of Coggin Avenue and 16th Street. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 25-year-old Richard Lopez of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
*4:04 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding criminal mischief.
*Brownwood Police arrested 52-year-oold James Bryan Tawater of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to appear and speeding 60 mph in 45 mph zone.
