Wednesday, June 19
*2:20 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a stolen vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that her Cadillac was stolen from the parking lot of her apartment complex. During the investigation, it was discovered that a male had sold the vehicle to Highway Salvage Yard after allegedly coercing his girlfriend to sign a bill of sale, the report states. The salvage yard was called to hold the vehicle until proper ownership could be determined. The male was arrested by Early Police on unrelated charges of false name, false information and forgery.
Thursday, June 20
*3:21 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive, Trigg Park, regarding suspicious activity. According to the report, during the call, a male subject identified as 18-year-old Chason Franklin was found to be in possession of marijuana. Franklin was arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone and interfere with public duties/motion to revoke.
*3:47 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of 9th Street regarding a hit and run. According to the report, an unknown driver struck the complainant’s vehicle between the hours of 10:00 AM & 3:00 PM.*5:34 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of 17th Street regarding a hit and run. According to the report, an unknown vehicle collided with the passenger side of the complainant’s vehicle resulting in the passenger door being damaged.
*7:25 PM –Brownwood Police met with a reporting party regarding a missing person. An investigation was initiated.
*7:55 PM – A Brownwood Police officer while on patrol in the 800 block of Avenue H made a pedestrian stop on a male subject on a bicycle for a traffic violation. During the stop, the subject, identified as 29-year-old Shawn Lee Hickey, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Hickey was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.
*9:47 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace regarding terroristic threat. According to the report, the investigation determined that the suspect had criminally damaged the complainant’s property and had made a series of threats to multiple people.
*10:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, a female subject claimed that her son assaulted her by kicking her in the hand. The female claimed that her son fled prior to officers’ arrival, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Juan Estevan Lara of San Angelo for motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Ronnie Lee Massey of Bangs for driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension without financial responsibilities.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 22-year-old Vance Mason Rice of Santa Anna for driving with license invalid with previous convictions.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Raul Salinas-Garcia of San Angelo for unlawful use of a criminal instrument.
Friday, June 21
*Early Police arrested 33-year-old Hugo Enrique Ortega of San Angelo for public intoxication.
