Friday, June 17
*8:01 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3200 block of Milam Drive regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, an unknown suspect had attempted to break into the concession stand at the Camp Bowie Family Aquatic Center.
*8:22 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Victoria Street regarding theft. According to the report, approximately 15-20 old rebuilt fishing reels had been stolen. According to the report, the theft was discovered on Wednesday, June 15th.
*9:49 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the area of 4th Street and Avenue K regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, vehicles at the residence had been “egged.”
*11:35 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Avenue B regarding an assault.
*12:13 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of 12th Street regarding disorderly conduct and the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the caller stated that a group of people were in the back of his property inside of a motor home and that they were not supposed to be on the property. This call led to the arrest of 26-year-old Robert Lynch of Brownwood for the burglary of a vehicle, the report states.
*2:53 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Almond Street regarding theft. According to the report, a lawn mower along with a window air conditioning unit had been stolen. A suspect has been identified, the report states.
*3:15 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a restaurant in the 400 block of E. Commerce regarding an assault. A suspect has been identified, the report states.
*4:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of E. Commerce regarding a scam. According to the report, the victim suffered a financial loss of $984.90.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that he had written a personal check in the amount $24,685 to purchase 500 Silver Eagle coins and 10 Gold Eagle Coins from a known suspect. According to the report, the complainant stated that he has not received the coins as agreed upon.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Ricardo Maldonado, Jr. of Brownwood for tamper fabricate physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Nolberto Martinez, Jr. of Brownwood on a warrant related to terroristic threat of family/house member. Martinez was later released on $10,000 bond.
*Early Police arrested 32-year-old Derrick Lee Mason of Early for public intoxication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Billy Wayne Thomas of Coleman on a warrant related to the violation of a bond/protective order.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 17-year-old Alexis Tompkins of Brownwood for theft.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Joseph Ryan Womack of Brownwood on a warrant related to two counts of manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than or equal to 1 gram less than 4 grams.
Saturday, June 18
*1:08 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1000 block of W. Commerce Street. This stop resulted in the arrest of the driver, identified as 22-year-old Colton Roberts of Bangs, for driving while intoxicated/open container.
*2:13 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3500 block of Rhodes Road regarding domestic disturbance. According to the report, a juvenile suspect was identified and transported to the Brownwood Police Department where he was processed then taken to the Brown County Juvenile Detention Center.
*8:21 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Indian Creek regarding theft. According to the report, a lawn mower had been stolen by a known suspect.
*9:43 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant, at the Law Enforcement Center, who requested a civil standby. While discussing the details of the need for the civil standby, the complainant stated on Thursday, June 16, 2016, her boyfriend assaulted her during an argument, the report states.
*6:17 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding the theft of a television. According to the report, the theft is pending further investigation.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of an assault which occurred in Blanket. According to the report, the victim’s boyfriend had allegedly assaulted her and then left the scene. The deputy made contact with the boyfriend, the report states.
*Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Game Warden arrested 42-year-old Jason Loyd Brown of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Arthur Lopez of Brownwood for taper/fabricate physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, failure to identify fugitive, and on a warrant.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52-year-old Thomas Valdez of Brady on a warrant related to child support.
Sunday, June 19
*2:47 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property near May regarding an assault. According to the report, the female victim stated that she lives at the residence with her boyfriend and his son. She stated that during a verbal argument with her boyfriend, he assaulted her. As a result of this call, 20-year-old David Justin Martin of May was arrested for assault family/house member impede breath/circulation. Martin was later released on $10,000 bond.
*3:48 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of 13th Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, regarding juveniles causing problems in the area. During an investigation, officers located a vehicle that had been damaged, the report states.
*6:27 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Avenue B regarding an accident. According to the report, an investigation led to the arrest of the driver of one of the vehicles who appeared to be intoxicated. The suspect was taken to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for a consensual blood draw and charged with driving while intoxicated first offense.
*10:03 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, the suspect left the scene after being confronted by management. The suspect was opening up cans of different brands of canned whipped cream and ingesting the air. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*12:12 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Avenue C regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the passenger side window of the complainant’s vehicle had been damaged.
*5:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, a cowboy hat was stolen from the vehicle.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy made a traffic stop on Garmon Drive. According to the report, the deputy identified the driver as 32-year-old Michael Sinclair of Early and passenger 25-year-old Zachary Manning, also of Early. During a roadside interview, Sinclair was found to be in possession of marijuana and to be in possession of a .45 caliber pistol, which was in the trunk of the vehicle, the report states. Sinclair was subsequently arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone and unlawful carrying of weapon. Manning was also arrested, charged with driving while license invalid with three previous convictions.
*Early Police arrested 35-year-old Tony Aguilar of Early for burglary of a building.
*Bangs Police arrested 25-year-old Amber Dugan of Clyde, Texas for driving while license invalid with previous convictions/suspension without financial responsibility.
*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Ashley Preston of Brownwood for injury of a child with intentional bodily injury. Preston was later released on $10,000 bond.
*A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department game warden arrested 34-year-old Daniel Ray Prickett of Brownwood for boating while intoxicated.
*23-year-old Jose Soliz of Brownwood was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Monday, June 20
*12:20 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of LaMonte Drive regarding domestic disturbance. During the investigation officers learned that 35-year-old Oscar Alvarez of Brownwood had physically assaulted his spouse, the report states. Alvarez was arrested for assault causes bodily injury family violence along with two active warrants.
