Wednesday, June 19
*10:05 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Melwood regarding theft. According to the report, between Friday, June 14th and Tuesday, June 18th, an XBox Kinect game system was taken without consent from the owner.
*1:37 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of 1st Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that sometime between June 6th and June 9th, she noticed jewelry missing from her home. The complainant had numerous guests in her home during that timeframe and was unable to give suspects at the time, states the report.
*7:01 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Irma Street regarding a runaway juvenile. According to the report, the juvenile had left the home at approximately 2:30 PM and was due to return at 5:00 PM. At the time of the report, the juvenile had not still not been located, the report states.*7:14 PM – A Brownwood Police officer while on patrol, noticed a driver who was not wearing a safety belt. According to the report, the officer attempted to make a traffic stop; however, the vehicle failed to stop. After eventually stopping, the driver Lashawn Griffin was arrested for the offense of evading arrest using a motor vehicle (a 3rd degree felony), driving while license invalid with previous conviction, and for no seat belt, the report states.
*7:43 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an assault which had occurred. According to the report, the complainant stated that her common law husband had assaulted her. No clear aggressor could be determined through the investigation at the time of the report.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Park Road 15 regarding the theft of a firearm. According to the report, an elderly male stated that unknown person or persons took two firearms from his residence without his permission.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Laurie Beth French of Odessa for bail jumping and failure to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Zachary Michael Green of Buffalo Gap for failure to appear related to theft of property by check.
*Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 20-year-old Anthony Thomas Lumpkin on an indictment for engage in organized criminal activity and theft of property equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 34-year-old Amber Michelle Parks on a warrant for changed lane when unsafe.
* Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 19-year-old Shalee Riddles on an indictment for engage in organized criminal activity and theft of property equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
Thursday, June 20
*Early Police arrested 18-year-old Charity Holland of Santa Anna regarding theft of property less than $50.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Chelsey Raylene Mayes of Zephyr on a warrant for motion to revoke related to theft of property.
*Early Police arrested 18-year-old Mariah Murray of Santa Anna for theft of property equal or greater to $500 less than $1500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Dempsey Douglas Webb on a warrant for burglary of a habitation.
