Thursday, June 18
*7:57 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Durham Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, identification, credit cards and a cell phone were stolen from the vehicle.
*12:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 21-year-old Devin Todd Griffin for theft over $50 under $500 and for failure to identify.
*12:54 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 3500 block of Main Street regarding criminal mischief.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 63-year-old John Johnson of Cameron, Texas on a warrant related to organized retail theft equal or greater than $20,000 less than $100,000. Johnson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $75,000.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Lucas John Oldham of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of service equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Travis Sloan Shaw of Brownwood on a warrant.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Joseph James Williams of McGreagor, Texas on a warrant related to failure to appear/unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Friday, June 19
*12:47 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of 11th Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the front window of the complainant’s vehicle was broken by an unknown suspect and item.
