Tuesday, June 17

*1:22 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office met with a complainant regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that on Saturday, June 7th, at approximately 11:00 p.m., an unknown person stole his acoustic guitar after his band performed at the Brownwood Country Club during the golf scramble.  No suspects could be identified at the time of the call, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an incident of stolen medication.  According to the report, the complainant stated he had filled his prescription at Wal-Mart on Tuesday, June 17th and that the medication, 120 tablets of Diazepam 10 mg (Valium), is now missing from his home.

Wednesday, June 18

*11:13 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Avenue E regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, an unknown suspect (s) shot the siding and window of his residence with what appeared to be a pellet gun.  The incident was believed to have occurred at an unknown time the week prior to this report.

*Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Elizabeth regarding a noise complainant.  According to the report, after speaking with the parties with the music, the officer discovered that a burglary had occurred at the residence and a 66-inch television had been stolen.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated that sometime between 4:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on June 17th, someone ran over her mailbox which is located on E. County Road 321 in Blanket.  The mail carrier noticed the damaged mailbox, the report states.

*34-year-old Kendra Lynn Cowan of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to cruelty to livestock.

*50-year-old Theresa Bartell McDaniel of Zephyr turned herself in on a warrant related to cruelty to livestock.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested d 58-year-old Patricia Mims Smith of Brownwood on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury family violence.

Thursday, June 19

*12:43 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of Main Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the driver of one of the vehicles involved had fled the scene.  Officers attempted to locate the subject but were unsuccessful, the report states.  The incident is pending further investigation, according to police.

*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old William Joey Ellis of Comanche on a warrant related to administrative release violator.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Jennifer Darlene Jolly of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Cassandra Lorraine Lewis of Coleman on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*52-year-old David Garcia Martinez of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to cruelty to livestock.

*25-year-old Kristofer Eric Morris of Hamilton turned himself in on a warrant related to cruelty to livestock.
