Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, June 19, 2012.
Thursday, June 14
*4:00am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to a noise nuisance, a barking dog, in the 2200 block of Indian Creek Road. According to the report, the complainant stated that the dog at a residence in that area barked throughout the night, keeping her and her daughter awake. The owner of the dog was not able to be contacted at the time of the report and the complainant was advised that she could sign a complainant at the Brownwood Municipal Court.
*10:50pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding an intoxicated person. According to the report, the initial call indicated the male subject was talking to himself and was armed with a knife. Officers arrived to find Mark Garcia holding onto the stair railing and leaning over the shrubbery of the 900 series of the apartments, the report states. Police report that a butcher knife with an approximately 8-inch blade was found lying in the shrubbery next to the stair railing. Garcia was determined to be intoxicated and admitted drinking a 6-pack of beer, the report states. Garcia was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication.
Sunday, June 17
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to signal a turn. During the stop, it was determined that a passenger, identified as 22-year-old Ashley Nicole Alldredge, in the vehicle had two outstanding warrants for her arrest. When the deputy asked Alldredge if she had any illegal contraband on her person she stated that she had a methamphetamine pipe and two Xanax pills in her bra, which she was instructed to surrender and did. Alldredge was arrested for the two warrants and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 less than 1 gram and Possession of a Controlled Substance no in Penalty Group Drug Free Zone.
Monday, June 18
*1:24pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle was vandalized while in the parking lot of Chili’s on June 16th.
*1:58pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that a subject who lives in Goldthwaite took money from her to buy gold and platinum for her; however she has not received any items from him at the time of the report.
*5:20pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the burglary of a habitation in the 500 block of Main Street. According to the report, the complainant stated that her apartment was broken into between June 9th and June 18th and $1200 worth of her property was stolen. The complainant named five possible suspects and did wish to pursue criminal charges against them.
*9:28pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Melwood regarding an animal bite. According to the report, the complainant stated he was bitten by a large brown and white dog while riding his bicycle in the 1700 block of Melwood. The dog and its owners were located in that same block and a message was left for the animal control officer to pick up the dog the following morning for quarantine, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Mona Louise Ellington for Assault Family Violence.
*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Rebecca Leigh Vasquez for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 less than 1 gram, Tamper Fabricate Evidence, and on five warrants.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the report of the theft of a belt buckle. According to the report, the suspect stated that he had allowed family members to stay at his residence while he was out of town for the weekend. Since then, a buckle given to the complainant by his father as a gift and valued at approximately $575 was found to be missing, the report states. No other items were missing from the residence according to the report.
Tuesday, June 19
*1:50am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of 3rd Street regarding harassment. According to the report, the complainant stated that she has been contacted by several friends and family members who told her they have received emails, Facebook postings, and texts containing nude photographs of the complainant. She believes that her husband, with whom she is currently separated, is responsible for the postings and messages, the report states. She also stated that after she separated from her husband, he sent her several emails threatening to post nude photographs of her, according to the report.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
