Saturday, June 13
*1:36 PM – Three emergency calls at a residence in the 600 block of Avenue G during the month of June 2015 is being investigated according to police. According to the report, these calls are believed to be false alarms or reports. Several emergency agencies respond to these calls ranging from medical emergencies to suicides/attempted suicides, the report states. The case has been forwarded to the criminal investigation division for further investigation.
Wednesday, June 17
*1:33 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce Street regarding the forgery of a financial instrument related to an elderly individual. According to the report, the suspect is known and charges are expected to be filed.
*1:56 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the report of a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex in the 1500 block of Borden Street. During the call, officers were related to another address where they spoke with the alleged victim of an assault by strangulation, the report states.
*5:38 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Killarney Drive regarding a civil matter. According to the report, it was determined that the complainant had been assaulted by a known suspect. The complainant wished to pursue charges, the report states.*7:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Cordell Street regarding a domestic disturbance.
*8:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Cordell Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, officers arrived at the location and were told by a male and female on scene that there was no problem and no injuries at that time. A short time later, officers were dispatched back to the residence for an assault, the report states. During this second call, the female claimed that she had been assaulted by the male and that he had fled the scene, according to police.
*57-year-old Kim Douglas Duncan of Early turned herself in on a warrant related to possession delivery of drug paraphernalia.
*Early Police arrested Christopher James Johnson of Brownwood for failure to identify and resist arrest search or transport.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Larry Don Knight of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Jacob Andrew Mendoza of Bangs on a warrant.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Logan Lee Slayer of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
