*1:33pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Magnolia regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, the subject was issued a criminal trespass warning at the request of the complainant for the residence.
*4:10pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the MHMR Center for Life Resources, in the 400 block of Mulberry, regarding theft. According to the report, a complainant stated that two clients’ money was found to be missing on June 4th and that Adult Protective Services had been contacted and performed an investigation. A total of $80 was missing, $20 from one and $60 from the other client. No suspects had been determined at the time of the report. APS determined that although no possible suspects were determined, MHMR was at fault for having a poor record keeping service, the report states.
*6:04pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Davis Lane regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that a friend stole items from her home while the friend had been staying at her apartment. Also noted was damage to the trunk of her car, which was “keyed,” the report states. According to police, the theft took place on June 14-15, but the time frame for the criminal mischief was unknown. Possible suspect information was provided, the report states.
*6:55pm-Brownwood Police were called to a residence in the 1000 block of N. Fisk, on the Howard Payne Campus, regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that while he was out of town, June 11-14, someone entered his unlocked apartment and damaged his acoustic guitar which is valued at approximately $400. A suspect has been identified, the report states.
Saturday, June 16
*12:30am-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Cordell Street regarding a citizens’ dispute and multiple subjects fighting in the park. According to the report, a male was identified and was observed yelling and walking aggressively towards a crowd of people in the parking lot in the 500 block of Cordell. The male then decided to get into his pickup and leave the area, the report states. It was later determined that the male was being aggressive toward a female, which dispatch confirmed had an active protective order against him. No arrest was made at the time of the report.
*3:04am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Poplar Street regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant requested Guardian EMS due to the severity of his wife’s injuries. The intoxicated female victim told police that she and her husband got into an argument and that she had left in her vehicle, the report states. She reported that she was flagged down in the 700 block of China Street by subjects who began providing her with beer and that a male subject then approached her and punched her in the face causing a severe laceration to her left eye, the report states. According to police, the woman was too intoxicated to give more details at the time of the report and was transported by Guardian EMS to Brownwood Regional Medical Center. The woman’s vehicle was located in front of a residence in the 700 block of China Street and police spoke to two subjects who were not at the residence when the assault occurred, according to police.
*10:38am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding a juvenile problem. According to the report, the complainant stated that his older brother was hitting him and that his parents were not stopping the situation. Officers arrived on scene and a male juvenile was arrested for assault family violence and released to the custody of the Juvenile Detention Center, the report states.
*11:44am-Brownwood Police responded to the 2300 block of Avenue D regarding theft. According to the report, two female juveniles have been identified as suspects in a theft which occurred on February 2, 2012; however no arrests had been made at the time of the report and the incident is pending further investigation.
*1:02pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the complainant stated that his brother-in-law entered his apartment after being told not to. After speaking with the suspect by telephone, the officer was advised by the suspect that he was invited into the residence where he was then assaulted by his wife. No arrests were made at the time of the report and the incident is pending further investigation, the report states.
*3:05pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Campa Drive regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, possible suspects were named but no arrests were made at the time of the report and the incident is pending further investigation.
*4:29pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Coggin Avenue regarding the burglary of an ice machine and water dispenser in the 1200 block of Coggin Avenue.
*5:37pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of E. Commerce regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the burglary occurred between 5:25pm-5:35pm, while the pickup was parked at a local store with the windows down and the doors unlocked. A purse was taken from the middle seat which contained various items.
*7:08pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue, the Valero convenience store regarding a gas drive off. According to reports, at 7:25pm, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Avenue D regarding the investigation of a gas drive off. According to the report, the suspect vehicle was located in the 1200 block of Avenue D where the driver, identified as 54-year-old Nicki Ralston King, was determined to be intoxicated. King was arrested for the offense of Driving While Intoxicated 3rd and investigation of the gas drive off is ongoing, awaiting the decision of the store owner to pursue charges, the report states.
Sunday, June 17
*1:34am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Beaver Street regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that after refusing to go home with a man she knows, he hit her, knocking her to the ground. No injury was noted on the complainant at the time of contact; however, suspect information was provided by the complainant.
*4:38am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Durham Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance.
*6:29am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding terroristic threat. According to the report, the complainant stated that her husband, who she is currently separated from, came to the residence and threatened her with a pipe. The suspect could not be located upon officer’s arrival, the report states. The incident is pending further investigation.
*2:03pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of E. Commerce, Whataburger, regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that she had left her purse on a table inside the restaurant and returned only minutes later to find the purse was missing. The incident is pending further investigation, the report states.
*5:41pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 3400 block of Durham Avenue regarding the theft of a purse. According to the report, the exact time and place of the theft was unknown; however, an electronic charge of $1750.00 was made on a credit card on June 7th. The victim was advised of steps to take to prevent identity theft and fraudulent charges to credit/bank cards, the report states. No suspects were identified at the time of the report.
*8:34pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of 1st Street regarding a suspicious male walking away from the complainant’s vacant rent house. According to the report, the complainant lives in the same block of a rental house he owns. He stated that neighbors reported seeing a male walking away from his rental house and that his tenants were in the process of moving and still possibly have valuable items in the residence, the report states. Further investigation showed evidence that a burglary of a habitation had taken place and a suspect has been identified, according to the report.
*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Ermelinda Ann Sierra for Public Intoxication.
Monday, June 18
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Ashley Nicole Alldredge for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 less than 1 gram, Possession of a Controlled Substance not in a Penalty Group in a Drug Free Zone, and for two outstanding warrants.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 32-year-old Kirk W. Jordan of Ferris, Texas for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
*Early Police arrested 40-year-old Laurie Ann Schultz of Zephyr for Disorderly Conduct.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
