Monday, June 15

*10:19 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Market Place Drive regarding a hit and run.  According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle was struck while he was at a local business parking lot on June 3rd.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*12:54 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding theft.

*1:42 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a local nursing home on Songbird Circle regarding theft.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Ardee Drive regarding found narcotics.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a plastic tub containing methamphetamine residue was found which belonged to his wife.  The tube was seized as evidence, the report states.

Tuesday, June 16

*8:26 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of S. Broadway regarding found property.

*10:11 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of 7th Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a vehicle had struck the garage door of a residence and fled the scene.  The incident is believed to have occurred on June 15th and an investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*10:19 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of firearms.  According to the report, two firearms, which were valued at $500 each, were stolen from the complainant’s residence within the last year.

*8:49 PM – Brownwood Police officer noticed a vehicle parked in the right lane of traffic on the westbound lane of the 1000 block of W. Commerce.  According to the report, the driver stated that he had bumped into another vehicle while at the store, and thought that the police were looking for him when he saw the officer.  A consent search of the vehicle was conducted and found 5 marijuana smoking devices in a bag containing clothing and a plastic bag containing 5.4 grams of marijuana in the locked glove compartment of the vehicle, according to the report.  The driver, identified as 20-year-old Frankie Barbee of Perryton, Texas, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*10:34 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4400 block of South US Hwy 377 regarding disorderly conduct.  A guest at a motel in the area was reported to be highly intoxicated and causing problems in the parking lot of the business, the report states.  This call led to the arrest of 32-year-old Jacob Davis of Cushing, Oklahoma for public intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Stephanie Renea Baker of Brownwood on a surety withdrawal related to possession of a controlled substance.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Alan Leroy Everett of Brownwood on warrants related to a surety withdrawal for assault family violence, theft of property equal or greater than $1,500 less than $20,000, and motion to adjudicate/failure to stop and render aid.  Everett was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $15,000.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Anthony Dean Heft of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/resist arrest.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55-year-old Chester Noland Williams of Blanket for public intoxication and for an active warrant related to public intoxication.

Wednesday, June 17

*1:58 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of E. Commerce regarding a possible intoxicated driver.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 40-year-old Stephanie Sue Barr of Zephyr for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.
