Law enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday and Friday, June 16-17, 2011.

Wednesday, June 15

*10:05pm-Brownwood Police were called to a domestic disturbance in the 3700 block of Savoy.  The responding officer interviewed the complainant, the suspect, and two independent witnesses at the scene.  This resulted in the arrest of 25-year-old Amy Elizabeth Allison of Early for criminal trespass.

*12:37pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Elizabeth regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated that some solar powered lights had been pulled out of the ground and thrown down on the side yard of the property.  Two lights were taken for fingerprinting the report states.  The complainant wished to pursue charges if a suspect could be identified.

*6:34pm-Brownwood Police responded to a medical emergency in the 300 block of Bluffview.  According to the report, officers arrived to find Firemen and Guardian EMTs working on two unresponsive individuals for possible drug related incident.  The individuals were 21 and 16-year-old males.  Both were transported to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center where they were treated and placed into intensive care, the report states.

*7:31pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Norwood regarding theft.  According to the report, various metal plates and tubing were stolen from the complainant’s property along with a disassembled hay spear had also been taken from the complainant’s garage area.  The value of the stolen property was estimated to be $400-$500 the report states.

*6:53pm-Brownwood Police received a report of theft in the 4400 block of McArthur Circle.  According to the report, the complainant reported that unauthorized debits on his debit card totaling $430.00 had been made.

Thursday, June 16

*9:07am-Brownwood Police met a man at Brownwood Police Department (BPD) who had come to release 8 prescriptions for pain medication that he no longer needed.  According to the report, he wished for the medication to be destroyed.  The medication was taken to the BPD property room for destruction, the report states.

*11:45am-Brownwood Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Bluffview.  The complainant reported that her mother and step father had assaulted her; however, she did not wish to pursue charges the report states.  There were no injuries observed and the suspects were asked to move out of their daughter’s apartment and asked not to return.

*12:42pm-Brownwood Police received a report regarding attempted theft.  According to the report, the complainant had received several phone calls relating to a scam in which the unidentified callers would state that the answering party had won a prize and then ask that person to send them money related to winning that prize.  The complainant stated that she did not lose any money in this incident.

*2:53pm-A Brownwood police met a subject who wished to turn in prescription drugs to be destroyed.  According to the report the man handed the officer a paper bag which contained assorted prescription drugs that had belonged to his recently deceased mother-in-law.  The medication was taken to the BPD property room for destruction, the report states.

*1:07pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at BPD who stated that he had checked his credit card statement and noticed that there were two unknown and unauthorized transaction on the statement, the report states.  The complainant wished to pursue charges if a suspect could be identified; however no suspect information was available at the time of the report.

Friday, June 17

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 21-year-old Jeffrey Lee Schafer for Driving While Intoxicated/Open Alcohol Container

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
