Law Enforcement reports and arrests released Wednesday, June 16, 2010

Monday, June 14

*Brownwood Police responded to a fight at a residence in the 3900 block of Forrest Hill.  The police report states that two men confronted another man at the residence for the way he was driving.  The verbal dispute escalated into a fight causing some of the men to sustain injuries.  Police spoke to witnesses and all parties involved. No arrests have been made.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a fight resulting in minor injuries in May, TX.  Officers interviewed the victim and witnesses.  The victim told deputies that they did not wish to press charges.

*A woman reported to Brownwood Police that someone had stolen her identity and used her social security number.

Tuesday, June 15

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a man being shot in the leg accidentally.  Deputies responded to Brownwood Regional Medical Center to interview the victim.  The victim told deputies that he and some friends were shooting a 12 gauge shotgun in and around a stock tank on a ranch near FM 2525.  The victim said that at one point, he shot it at the ground where dust blew at his friends.  The victim said that later that one of his friends did the same thing, but some of the shot deflected off of a rock and struck him in the legs.  The victim did not wish to pursue charges.

*Texas DPS arrested 35-year-old Che Patrice Hutchinson for Possession of Marijuana and Driving While License invalid

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a stolen guitar which was located at a pawn shop

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding an electrical pole that was hit by a vehicle and knocked down on Luker Circle.  Damage was estimated at $100.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Texas DPS responded to an assault on Starboard Drive in Harbor Point.  The report indicates that the victims sustained some injuries.  No arrests have been made.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Britt Wade Stevens for Delivery of a Dangerous Drug

*Brownwood Police responded to a hit & run in the 1000 block of W. Commerce.  A complainant reported that a vehicle backed into a motorcycle in a parking lot causing $1700 of damage.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
