Friday, June 12
*7:07 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of 14th Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, sometime during the night, someone had “slashed” all four tires of the complainant’s vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of the residence.
*11:10 AM – Brownwood Police were called the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.
*1:42 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of N. Main Street regarding theft. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 64-year-old Yvonne Montellano of Bangs for theft under $1500 with two convictions.
*4:43 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, an incident of theft over $50 under $500 was documented.
*11:16 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Avenue E. According to the report, during the stop, drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle was cited for the offense of possession of drug paraphernalia and was released at the scene.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old James Douglas Foster of Waxahachie on warrants related to theft of property equal or greater than $1,500 less than $20,000 and theft of property greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
*Bangs Police arrested 31-year-old Chealsea Jones of San Angelo for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
Saturday, June 13
*12:00 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding criminal mischief which damaged the complainant’s vehicle.
*10:50 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, a trailer was stolen from the loading dock of a business between the hours of 7:00 p.m. on June 12 and 8:00 a.m. on June 13th.
*6:38 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Belle Plain. This stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as Tammy Haines, for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.
*8:00 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2100 block of 14th Street. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver, identified as Drew Goulet of Brownwood, was in possession of marijuana, the report states. Goulet was arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, according to the report.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 31-year-old Marcus Lynn Byrd of Mineral Wells for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 400 grams. Byrd was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
*Early Police arrested 23-year-old Jorge Lorenzo Delapaz of Brownwood for failure to identify and disorderly conduct.
*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Robert Salinas Diaz of Brownwood on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Timothy Allen French of Brownwood for disorderly conduct.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old James Lee Greene of Brownwood on warrants related to violate promise to appear and open container and for failure to identify fugitive.
*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Phillip Ortega Reyes of Brownwood on a parole violation.
*37-year-old Cody Ray Zabel of Early turned himself in on a warrant related to assault family violence.
Sunday, June 14
*00:34 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding disorderly conduct at a local business. A report of assault by threat or offensive touch was taken.
*6:04 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of W. Commerce Street regarding a vehicle accident. According to the report, when the officer arrived on scene he observed a male subject lying on the ground next to a crashed sedan. No arrest was made at the time of the report; however, an incident of reckless damage or destruction was documented.
*7:04 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding the burglary of a habitation.
*7:40 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Magnolia Street regarding the unauthorized use of a vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered outside the city limits of Brownwood, the report states.
*10:10 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Indian Creek Road regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a window of a funeral home was broken as a result of being shot with a BB gun. This same funeral home suffered damage in the same manner last week.
*9:37 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Avenue B regarding a terroristic threat. According to the report, during this call, a male subject had been assaulted by his father at a south Brownwood residence. An alleged incident of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family violence was documented.
*21-year-old Amber Rene Barrow of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to robbery.
*Brownwood Police arrested 29-year-old David DeJesus Cardoza of Bangs on a Coryell County warrant related to criminal nonsupport.
*A Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden arrested 21-year-old Steven William Senter of Abilene for boating while intoxicated.
*Brownwood Police arrested 42-year-old Tammy Deann Tellez of Brownwood for driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension without financial responsibility.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Corey Lynn Walker of Goldthwaite for unlawful possession of firearm and driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
