Law enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday and Friday June 14-15, 2012.
Wednesday, June 13
*11:13am-Brownwood Police responded to the 1200 block of Beaver Street regarding a dog bite. According to the report, the complainant had been bitten by a dog at a neighboring residence when the door of the residence was opened. The complainant sustained a bite on her knee from the female pit bull mix, the report states. Documentation showed the animal was up-to-date on its rabies vaccination; however it was placed on home quarantine until June 22, 2012, according to the report.
*2:47pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding a burglary where officers spoke to two witnesses.
*5:47pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of 3rd Street regarding theft of medication. According to the report, the complainant stated that a known subject, a relative, had stolen two of his prescription medications from his residence. The complainant does wish to pursue criminal charges against the subject, the report states.
*10:17pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Main Street where a subject was issued a criminal trespass warning at the request of a resident at the apartment complex.
Thursday, June 14
*3:15pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 2600 block of Hillsboro Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that her home was burglarized while she was at work between the hours of 6:00am and 2:15pm. Stolen from her home were two gold rings, valued at $400 total.
*3:33pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding an assault. According to the report, two females were involved in an altercation. After investigation, 42-year-old Beatrice Gonzalez Diaz Luke was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury, the report states.
*5:45pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding found property. According to the report, a sign was found at the property and placed into the Brownwood Police Department bicycle impound for safe keeping.
*6:38pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Austin Avenue regarding harassment. According to the report, the complainant stated a 16-year-old female was harassing the complainant by phone and text messages. Criminal charges are being pursued, the report states.
*Bangs Police arrested 59-year-old Bonnie Fay Franqui for Driving While License Invalid with Previous Conviction.
Friday, June 15
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 30-year-old Coby Pool for Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 greater than 4 grams less than or equal to 200 grams and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 2A less than 2 ounces.
*Brownwood Police arrested 37-year-old Mark Garcia for Public Intoxication.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
