Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday June 14, 2011.

Wednesday, June 8

*4:08pm-Brownwood Police received a report of a pistol that was either lost or stolen within approximately the last two months.  According to the report, the pistol was described as a nickel plated .25 caliber with pearl handgrips.  No other information was available at the time of the report.

Sunday, June 12

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office reports that an investigation has been opened regarding a stabbing that occurred Sunday night at the El Coahuila.  A victim was reported to have been stabbed multiple times.  The investigation is ongoing. 

Monday, June 13

*Approximately 2pm, Brownwood Police were called to a business in the 200 block of W. Commerce regarding a medical emergency.  According to the report, investigation of the scene revealed an incident of possible huffing of an aerosol dusting product had occurred according to the report.  An offense report has been filed and charges are likely to be filed in the case the report states.

*4:17pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Clements where a convenience store clerk reported the theft of a security camera at the business.  According to the clerk, the male suspect took the camera while two other males distracted the clerk and all three subjects then fled to a dark colored sport utility vehicle and drove away. The camera is valued at approximately $150 the report states.  There was limited suspect information available at the time of the report.

*6:14pm-Brownwood Police responded to the area of Romines and W. Baker Street in reference to a reckless driver.  The responding officer arrived to find a wrecked vehicle, the report states.  After investigation, the driver identified as Ruben Valdez was arrested for reckless driving.

*6:53pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to Brownwood Regional Medical Center at 2500 Crockett Drive regarding an animal bite.  According to the report, medical personnel confirmed that a child had been bitten and scratched by a stray kitten in the 1700 block of 1st Street.  The child reported that she was bitten and scratched when she tried to pick up the kitten.  The child’s mother wished only for the kittens to be picked up and removed from the area, the report states.  Animal control was notified of the incident and request.

*10:15pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 300 block of W. Commerce in reference to Disorderly Conduct.  According to the report, an investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as 61-year-old Timmy Howard Dickey of Early, was intoxicated.  Dickey was arrested for Public Intoxication, Failure to Identify Fugitive, Retaliation, 3 Municipal Warrants and 1 Brown County Warrant.

Tuesday, June 14

*1:25am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft.  According to the report, merchandise had been taken from the store and the suspects ran out the front doors of the business.  No arrests have been made.

*4:28am-Brownwood Police were called to investigate a suspicious person in the 200 block of Fisk Avenue.  According to the report, the responding officer found that four subjects had entered the building that is marked “no trespassing” without the owner’s permission.  20-year-old Kameron Yarborough, 19-year-old Michael Tulcus, 20-year-old Jason Allen Bigham and a juvenile were arrested for criminal trespass.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
