Monday, June 11
*5:06pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding a case of theft. According to the report, a bicycle belonging to the complainant’s daughter was stolen from the front yard of a residence in the 2200 block of Durham. The incident is believed to have occurred between 11:00pm on June 7th and 5:00am on June 8th.
*7:13pm-Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding the theft of numerous items totaling nearly $700.00. According to the report, the suspects had left the store and were in the process of loading the stolen goods into their car when they were approached by an employee. The suspects fled the scene, leaving behind a basket of goods in the parking lot. Information regarding the suspect and the vehicle was provided and an investigation is active.
Tuesday, June 12
*1:00pm-Brownwood Police responded to a local clinic regarding the possible sexual assault which had taken place approximately two weeks prior to the report. According to police, the encounter was between a 13-year-old male and his 13-year-old girlfriend who states he forced himself on her after she told him no. An investigation is pending.
*2:27pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Songbird Circle regarding theft. According to the report, a resident of the assisted living complex stated that her watch valued at $64.95 was missing and that she suspected that a member of the staff may have stolen it while cleaning. The complainant does wish to pursue charges if a suspect is identified.
*2:40pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Avenue D, Infant Toddler Head Start, regarding the violation of a protective order. According to the report, the male subject, 26-year-old Mario Guerra of Eastland, was located and arrested for the violation of a protective order.
*2:42pm-Brownwood Police met a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding theft. According to the report, three power tools were stolen from the carport of a residence sometime during the last week.
*2:56pm-Brownwood Police met a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that she was renting her residence in the 1000 block of 6th Street to a couple that moved out on or about June 1st. She stated that several items inside the home belonged to her and she believes that the couple stole them when they moved out.
*5:41pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, after speaking with the manager and reviewing video footage, 46-year-old Margaret Casey was arrested for theft more than $50 and less than $500.
*10:07pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Davis Lane regarding a runaway juvenile.
Wednesday, June 13
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Jesse James Brock for Burglary of a Habitation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Juaquin Coronado of Dublin for Driving While Intoxicated.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
