Monday, June 10

*3:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, the suspect had already fled the scene.

Tuesday, June 11

*11:02 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Mayes regarding a stolen phone.  According to the report, the male complainant stated that he had given two females a ride home.  When he returned home after dropping off the females, he noticed his cell phone had been stolen.

*11:03 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1400 block of Beaver Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, sometime during June 10th and the morning hours of June 11th, an unknown subject had stolen two computer systems from two motor vehicles that were being repaired at the complainant’s garage.

*12:39 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding the burglary of a vehicle.

*12:49 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Looney regarding theft.  According to the report, property that was purchased on a rental agreement had not been paid in at least 90 days and has not been returned.

*2:40 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of 9th Street regarding terroristic threats.  According to the report, a male who lives in the neighborhood was confronted by another male with a knife after he told the man to turn down the loud music coming from the male’s pickup.

*3:58 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding forgery related to a loan application.  According to the report, the suspect is known.

*5:18 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Avenue H regarding the burglary of a residence.  According to the report, a 47-inch Vizio television was stolen from the residence the report states.

*6:11 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1000 block of LaMonte regarding the violation of a protective order.  According to the report, the complainant reported that her ex-boyfriend has been driving by her residence, which is a violation of the protective order against him.

*11:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Fabis Lane regarding a suspicious male subject.  According to the report, while officers spoke to the male, identified as 50-year-old Troy Dean Morey, they observed drug paraphernalia in plain sight.  This led to the discovery of marijuana and Morey was arrested for possession of marijuana and issued a citation for drug paraphernalia, the report states.

*11:55 PM – Brownwood Police made a pedestrian stop in the 1700 block of Slayden Street.  During the stop, officers discovered the male subject to be in possession of a prohibited weapon.  In addition, the male tampered with evidence by swallowing a suspected package of narcotics, the report states.  The male subject, identified as 23-year-old Gary Vimmer, was transported to the hospital for evaluation and then to the Brown County Jail, charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and resisting arrest/detention/search/transport.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Michael Wayne Bowers of Dublin on a warrant related to the violation of a protective order.

Wednesday, June 12

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 30-year-old Leron Minor for interfere with public duties.

*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Lance Michael Sadecky of Forestburg on a warrant related to a parole violation.
