Friday, June 8

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of two gates from the complainant’s property.  According to the report, the gates which are valued at $350 were taken sometime overnight between the hours of 9:00pm and 8:00am this date.

Saturday, June 9

*9:11am-Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched regarding the burglary of a habitation in which several items were stolen including jewelry and power tools which were estimated to be worth $2000.  No suspect information was provided and the investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of several cattle panels and pipe.  According to the report, the 3 panels and 3-4 pieces of black pipe were stolen from the property.  Although the items were visible from the road, they were behind a locked gate and fence.

Sunday, June 10

*12:21am-A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched regarding a male and female fighting in their front yard.  According to the report, the victim stated that the male, identified as 31-year-old Timothy Leroy Cox, had assaulted her by pulling her across the yard by her hair and burning her with a cigarette two times while they argued.  Cox was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.

Monday, June 11

*5:53am-Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was on patrol when he noticed a passenger vehicle fail to signal a turn and made a traffic stop for the violation.  According to the report, the driver, identified as 25-year-old Enrique Jose Pesina, advised he did not have a license and was acting nervous, trembling and talking very fast.  When Pesina exited the vehicle, the deputy noticed a rolled up piece of toilet paper and conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle which found a glass smoking pipe and a black cloth bag containing several small baggies of methamphetamine in the driver’s seat.  Pesina advised that his passenger had no knowledge of the narcotics, so she was released at the scene and Pesina was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1.

*10:18am-A Brownwood Police officer was on patrol in the 2600 block of Austin Avenue when he observed a vehicle traveling in front of him, which had two male occupants who were not secured by a safety belt as the vehicle traveled down the roadway.  According to the report, a traffic stop was made which led to the arrest of Jeffery Hamill, who was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Hamill was charged with Possession of Marijuana less than 2 ounces Drug Free Zone.

*10:30am-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her vehicle was struck while in the Wal-Mart parking lot and that the suspect fled the scene.

*1:51pm-Brownwood Police responded to a terroristic threat at McDonalds, 204 E. Commerce.  According to the report, a bomb threat was received at the restaurant.  The scene was secured by the Brownwood Police Department and Brownwood Fire Department, the report states.  After the property was checked and no explosive found, the manager elected to reopen the business for service, according to police.

*3:41pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Avenue J regarding the burglary of a vehicle.

Tuesday, June 12

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Joshua Dale Allcorn of Bangs for Failure to Identify Giving False/Fictitious Information.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of harassment.  According to the report, the complainant’s ex-boyfriend continues to call and text her continually and that she is in the process of obtaining a protective order.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
