Monday, June 9

*1:59 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Carnegie where an officer met with a representative of Citizens National Bank regarding fraud/forgery.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the bank has received several fraudulent cashier’s checks that were cashed at several locations out of state and that the checks currently total $1830.

Tuesday, June 10

*8:09 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Avenue H regarding criminal mischief.  The complainant reported that her vehicle had been “egged” during the night, according to the report.

*10:01 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1100 block of Indian Creek Drive regarding several storage units being burglarized.  According to the report, the complainant stated that multiple units’ locking mechanisms were damaged.

*1:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of E. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant had left a backpack on a couch in the furniture department of Big Lots while she was shopping and later discovered it had been stolen.

*1:30 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a location just off of FM 585 regarding the theft of copper.  According to the report, an unknown person entered the property, where tank batteries are located, and stole approximately 90 feet of Nomel shielded submersible pump cable from the property.  The complainant did wish to pursue charges the report states.

*1:33 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding theft of property from the residence.

*1:42 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 700 block of W. Commerce.  According to the report, the driver, identified as 23-year-old Crystal Newingham of Brownwood, was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.    Newingham had several prior convictions for driving while a suspended license and was subsequently arrested for driving while license suspended with prior convictions.

*2:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Morris Shepherd regarding the burglary of a vehicle.

*11:29 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Dickman Drive, the Bert Massey Sports Complex, regarding a male subject who was possibly intoxicated.  This call for service led to the arrest of 23-year-old Michael David Peters of Bangs for public intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report via telephone of a burglary at a residence on FM 1849.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he arrived home to find the glass in his front door broken and the door standing open.  There are two manufactured homes on the property which had been entered, the report states.  The complainant reported that copper wiring was stolen from the outside disconnect on the larger home and from a large circuit in the inside panel from a 40 amp circuit, the report states.  The copper rubbing from the condenser unit of the air conditioner system was also taken, along with a black plastic box of tools which was in a previously locked two-car garage located between the two homes, according to the report.  Nothing was determined to be missing from the smaller home, the report states.

*19-year-old Jesus Morales of Ennis was arrested for possession of marijuana.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Terry Lee Reed, Jr. of Brownwood on warrants related to unauthorized absence community correctional facility (Tom Green County) and theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*Early Police arrested 18-year-old Myra Lynn Robledo of Brownwood for possession of marijuana.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Allan Roy Thomas of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance.

Wednesday, June 11

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the emergency room of Brownwood Regional Medical Center regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, the hospital staff advised that a male patient was pouring water from a toilet onto the floor and cursing loudly.  He was also kicking furniture at the wall of his room and disturbed other patients and staff members in the emergency room, the report states.  The patient, identified as 45-year-old Jon Scott Schuetzeberg of Lubbock, was arrested on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 44-year-old Jose Marcos Pena of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated with open alcoholic container and driving while license invalid with previous convictions.
