Saturday, June 6
*5:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Main Blvd regarding a civil standby. According to the report, the residents returned home to find their front door removed and several items taken from the residence. The facts surrounding the case were stated by the officer to be similar to a prior call in the neighborhood.
Friday, June 7
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded with Guardian EMS and Zephyr first responders to a location on County Road 270 regarding a female who had been kicked in the head by a horse. According to the report, contact was made with the injured female who was found to be extremely intoxicated and had difficulty answering the deputy’s questions.
Monday, June 10
*Early Police arrested 58-year-old Paul George Challenger for disorderly conduct.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Amy Grady for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram in a drug free zone.
*23-year-old Chelsey Raylene Mayes of Zephyr turned herself in on a warrant related to burglary of a habitation.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Ashley Nekoda Oden of Sweetwater on a warrant related to theft.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Ricky Valencia on a motion to revoke related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft regarding the purchase of a 1998 RV on Craig’s list. According to the report, the complainant sent a total of $3200 by Money Gram to the sellers; however he has not received the RV in exchange for the payment. Suspects were named; however no arrest was made at the time of the report.
Tuesday, June 11
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Shauna Lynn Anderson of Santa Anna for motion to revoke related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.
*5:58 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2800 block of Good Shepherd regarding identity theft. According to the report, a male subject stated that someone fraudulently obtained his personal information and attempted to open an account with a credit card company without his authorization.
*8:25 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Southside Drive regarding theft. According to the report, a weedeater was stolen off of the complainant’s porch.
*10:54 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Cindy Cove regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had spray painted a “figure” on his metal fence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old William West Johnson II of Coleman on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year-old Charles L. Nickerson of Abilene for motion to adjudicate related to possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram (crack cocaine).
