Tuesday, May 26
*8:11 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the burglary of a storage building.
*2:21 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Southside Drive regarding a juvenile who had damaged a teacher’s cell phone. According to the report, after an investigation, the juvenile was transported to the Brownwood Police Department for processing and then transported to the juvenile justice center.
Thursday, May 28
*8:09 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding credit card abuse.
*5:10 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy investigated a case of animal cruelty. According to the report, the deputy located the horses which were very thin to the point that the hips and rib bones of the animals could clearly be seen, the report states. The animals belonged to the tenant of the property, according to the property owners.
Friday, May 29
*1:11 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Trigg Street regarding an assault.
*1:37 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, numerous thefts/fraudulent returns have been made during the last two weeks at a local business. Through statements and surveillance video, three of the four suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*1:58 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3800 block of Crestridge Drive regarding an assault. This call led to the arrest of 30-year-old Clinton Ray Jones of Brownwood for active Brown County warrants, the report states.
*3:43 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 200 block of E. Commerce Street regarding a hit and run accident. According to the report, a possible suspect license plate number was obtained.
*5:09 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on High Mesa Cove regarding theft. According to the report, the theft occurred in November of 2014 and a suspect is known.
*6:04 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the theft of two lawn mowers from an address on Coggin Avenue.
*6:40 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of Cottage Street. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 32-year-old Stephanie Walters Baldwin of Brownwood for terroristic threat.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 64-year-old William Bing Wallace of Brownwood for failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to control speed and driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
Saturday, May 30
*12:10 AM – Brownwood Police attempted a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Austin Avenue. According to the report, the driver briefly fled in the vehicle before deciding to come to a stop. The driver, identified as 55-year-old Kyle Wilson Brown of Brownwood, was found to be in possession of marijuana and resisted arrest, according to the officer’s report. Brown was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, attempting to elude a police officer, and resist arrest, search or transport.
*1:04 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of E. Commerce regarding an accident with a driver that was suspected to be intoxicated. According to the report, the suspect vehicle and driver, identified as Kevin Dwayne Rollins of Valley Head, Alabama, were located which resulted in the arrest of Rollins for driving while intoxicated, the report states.
*7:50 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Belmeade regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, a male subject broke the window out of a vehicle with a tire iron while a female was sitting inside. Upon officer’s arrival, the subject, identified as 19-year-old Juan Soria III, began threatening to get a gun to shoot officers, the report states. After a scuffle with officers, Soria was placed under arrest for assault with injury family violence, assault with injury by strangulation, criminal mischief greater than $50 less than $500, assault on a public servant and evading arrest/detention and resist arrest. Soria was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $39,000 as of Monday morning.
*12:15 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Vincent Street regarding a male subject inside the residence who had a prescription bottle of medication. According to the report, after running from officers, the male, identified as 17-year-old Nicholas Johnson of Brownwood, was apprehended and placed under arrest for evading arrest/detention, the report states.
*1:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Main Blvd. regarding a subject that was intoxicated and needing help. According to the report, the male, identified as 45-year-old Bryan Inglet of Brownwood, refused officers’ attempt to find him a ride and he stated that he wanted to go to jail. Inglet was placed under arrest for public intoxication, the report states.
*4:54 PM – Brownwood Police responded to a business in the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, items stolen included food, alcohol, clothing and household items. An attempt to stop the female in the exit of the store was unsuccessful as she allegedly pushed the loss prevention employee and continued to walk across the parking lot and cross W. Commerce, getting into a car at the back of a car dealership and left the scene, the report states.
*8:06 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of Avenue D regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the female victim stated she was assaulted by her husband who had left the scene. The incident was documented, the report states.
*9:48 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Avenue D regarding an assault. According to the report, an investigation determined that the male victim had been assaulted by an acquaintance and the incident was documented.
*11:06 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding an assault. According to the report, a female reported being punched in the face by a male who was armed with a knife and a baseball bat. The alleged incident was documented, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52-year-old David Duane Thornberry of Cherryvale, Kansas for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
Sunday, May 31
*3:21 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Indian Creek regarding an assault. An investigation determined that a female subject had been assaulted by her husband and the woman had fled to the store for someone to call police. 36-year-old Daniel Holten Stambaugh of Winters, Texas was arrested for assault with injury family violence by strangulation. Stambaugh was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond as of Monday morning.
*12:53 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft at a residence on Santa Clara.
*6:31 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of Main Street and Coleman Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, an investigation determined that a male, identified as 54-year-old Robert Stanfield of Brownwood, had assaulted his girlfriend. Stanfield was arrested for assault causes bodily injury family violence with previous conviction.
*6:49 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an animal bite. According to the report, a child had been bitten in the face by a dog at a south Brownwood residence.
*8:44 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on 3rd Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a 16-year-old female had become angry with her parents and destroyed property inside the home. The juvenile was arrested for criminal mischief and released to the juvenile detention center, the report states.
*8:48 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Avenue A regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, several unknown subjects were fighting in a backyard of one of the homes in the area. The incident was documented, the report states.
*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Randy Lynn Greathouse of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear, domestic assault (State of Missouri), driving while license invalid, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
*Brownwood Police arrested 41-year-old Jennifer Krzeminski of Ballinger on a warrant related to failure to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 29-year-old Justin Cody Musick of Early on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Carla Jodie Wooten of Cherryvale, Kansas for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
Monday, June 1
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Nathan Cole Culp of Brownwood for prohibited weapon – knuckles.
*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Laura Marie Fry of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/driving while intoxicated.
