Law enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, May 9, 2013.
Wednesday, May 8
*9:43 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue regarding harassment. According to the report, the complainant advised that a male was threatening to retaliate against their employees because of an incident which occurred in Abilene. The business had repossessed a vehicle belonging to the male and he was making threats toward employees of the business, the report states.
*7:27 PM – Brownwood police were dispatched to the 300 block of Main Street, Family Dollar, regarding theft. According to the report, a juvenile stole an inflatable pool. The identity of the juvenile had not be determined; however, the grandmother of the child has been identified, the report states.
*7:51 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Elizabeth Drive regarding harassment. According to the report, the victim stated that he has received threats via phone from another male subject in Brownwood.*10:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Norwood regarding an assault. According to the report, the investigation determined that terroristic threat of a family member had taken place.
*Early Police arrested 47-year-old Terri Ann Barker of Early on a warrant related to burglary of a habitation.
*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Melissa Sue Bond for theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Dustin Lance Galloway of Spring Branch on warrants related to two counts burglary of a building, possession of a controlled substance, and a parole violation. Galloway is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $70,000.
*35-year-old Jessica Mae Smyrl of Spring Branch was arrested on warrants related to burglary of a building and a parole violation. Smyrl is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Andrew Starr on a warrant related to criminal trespass of a building.
Thursday, May 9
*Early Police arrested 21-year-old Casey Lee White of Early for assault family violence.
