Law enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, May 6, 2016
Wednesday, May 4
*11:56 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that a known suspect apparently stole some window air conditioning units from a south Brownwood rental property.
*2:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Avenue E regarding theft. According to the report, a router had been stolen from the residence.
Thursday, May 5
*2:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Durham Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, an investigation was conducted and it was determined that two brothers were in an altercation and had injured each other, one of which had a broken nose. The two brothers were both arrested, Jerrold Wilkins was charged with injury to a child/elderly/disabled person with intent serious bodily injury and Gary Wilkins was charged with assault family violence bodily injury family/house member 2+ within 12 months.
*7:38 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Avenue D. As a result of this stop, Dominick Eddington was arrested for possession of marijuana under two ounces.*10:58 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 14th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, police arrived to find a fight in progress and determined that the two brothers-in-law had gotten into a fight over a video game. The two males were separated and the incident was documented, the report states.
*11:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a fast food restaurant in the 400 block of E. Commerce regarding an intoxicated person. According to the report, the subject, identified as 25-year-old Brennon McDowell of Brownwood, was unable to stand on level pavement and had to be assisted when he was performing a field sobriety test. An investigation determined that Brennon was intoxicated and a danger to himself and others and McDowell was subsequently arrested for public intoxication, the report states.
*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Dominick Reshade Eddington of Early for possession of marijuana.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Brandi Nicole Tomme of Brownwood on a warrant related to abandon endanger child with intent to return.
