Friday, May 1

*3:26 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant regarding fraud.  According to the report, the complainant’s ex-boyfriend had used her identification to open accounts with TXU Electric for two properties without her consent.

Saturday, May 2

*4:09 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an assault, which occurred in the county.   According to the report, the complainant stated that his nephew and he were arguing over the nephew not having a job and not paying any bills. The nephew allegedly pushed the complainant and hit him in the face, cutting the left side of his upper lip.

*10:04 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of a pair of car ramps from a property in the Oak Point Subdivision near Lake Brownwood.

*11:40 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on CR 551 in Brownwood, regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated someone had taken a gate off its hinges and entered his property without his consent.  The complainant noticed his fifth wheel camper which he uses as his residence while at the property had been entered without permission, the report states.  Several items including 2 firearms, which were located inside the fifth wheel, were found to be missing, according to the report.  During the deputy’s investigation, Master Card debit issued to a possible suspect was located inside the hallway of the old trailer, the report states.

Monday, May 4

*12:20 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce,  Walmart, regarding theft.  According to the report, two suspects identified as 22-year-old Charles Ratliff and 21-year-old Alicia Moreno, both of Brownwood, were detained for shoplifting.  According to the report, Ratliff and Moreno were charged with theft equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*Bangs Police arrested 29-year-old David Duhr of Bangs for driving while license invalid.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 63-year-old Roy Glenn Ferguson of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
