Friday, May 27
*10:21 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Market Place Blvd. regarding theft.
*12:13 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding a follow-up on a burglary involving an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that a known suspect entered the complainant’s apartment and assaulted him. The incident was documented, the report states.
*7:18 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a weapons offense. According to the report, an incident of deadly conduct was documented and a second victim was interviewed and an incident of robbery was documented.
*10:49 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Edwards Street regarding criminal mischief, involving a damaged vehicle.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 24-year-old Jessica Lynn Crowder of Stephenville on a warrant related to driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Meranda Delgadillo of Coleman on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Zachery Thrice Green of Waxahachie, Texas on a warrant related to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Green was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.
*Early Police officers conducted a follow up investigation from a fight that occurred at a restaurant in the 100 block of Early Blvd. which led to the arrest of 47-year-old Robert Hernandez-Duran of Brownwood on a theft warrant from Brown County, Early Chief of Police David Mercer reported. According to the report, the fight/assault occurred at approximately 10:15 pm in the parking lot and resulted in one person with injuries to the head being transported to the hospital. The injured person received 5 staples in his head, according to the report. The investigation is ongoing and no arrest has been made for the assault at his time, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Amber Lee Spearman of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of services equal or greater than $100 less than $750.
Saturday, May 28
*10:54 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a convenience store in the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding theft. According to the report, a store employee stated two young boys stole items and then left without paying. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*9:59 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4200 block of South US Hwy 377 regarding the burglary of a habitation.
*10:42 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Trigg Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the suspect damaged/destroyed a vine type plant on her property. The complainant wished to pursue criminal charges, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Manuel Garza of Brownwood on Hidalgo County warrants related to possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and criminal mischief equal or greater than $50 less than $500. Garza was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $20,000 as of Tuesday morning.
*Early Police arrested 40-year-old Jason Norbert Mueggenborg of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and violate promise to appear.
*A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department game warden arrested 50-year-old Bryce Ratliff of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Freddie Rodriguez of Brady for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams. Rodriguez was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Amy Diane Tumlinson of Amherst, Texas for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams and for public intoxication.
Sunday, May 29
*2:04 AM – A Brownwood Police officer was patrolling on 4th Street when he heard screaming in the area. According to the report, the source was located in the 1300 block of 4th Street. This incident led to the arrest of 25-year-old Larry James Bryant, Jr. for assault causes bodily injury family violence, resist arrest, and injury to a child.
*7:48 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Main Street regarding theft. According to the report, someone stole the complainant’s decorative metal rose bushes. An investigation is ongoing the report states.
*12:19 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the theft of a firearm. A possible suspect was named, the report states.
*2:56 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Main Blvd. regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that a male subject stole some items from his home. The investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*3:16 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of 4th Street regarding the violation of a protective order.
*3:23 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of 10th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, a 50” flat screen television was stolen from the residence.
*At approximately 11:00 PM – An Early police officer made a traffic stop in the 200 block of Orchard Drive for a traffic violation. According to the report, the driver Joshua James Stovall was very nervous while talking to the officer, so the K9 officer Jambo was deployed to search the vehicle and alerted on the vehicle. A search of the vehicle located loaded syringes, one of which tested positive for methamphetamine, and other syringes will be submitted to the DPS lab for analysis, the report states. 32-year-old Stovall of Early was placed under arrest, charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and for a defective headlamp. Stovall was later released on bonds totaling $5750.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Billy Glen Brooks of Coleman for failure to identify and theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500.
Monday, May 30
*7:30 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of E. Commerce regarding forgery/counterfeiting. According to the report, a counterfeit $20 bill was passed at a local restaurant.
*1:38 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant’s son had called her and stated that someone had stolen the air conditioning from the living room window. A possible suspect has been identified, the report states.
*1:50 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Houston Street regarding a nude person walking down the street. As a result of this call, the subject, identified as 38-year-old Tony Lee Jones of Brownwood, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
*59-year-old Mary Kay Brutger of Bangs was arrested for burglary of a habitation and assault class c. Brutger was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $15, 500 as of Tuesday morning.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 28-year-old Carlos Jesus Gutierrez of Austin, Texas for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 equal or less than 400 grams.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 34-year-old Andy Alexander Quintanilla of Angelton, Texas for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 400 grams. Quintanilla was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 35-year-old Edward Quintanilla of Houston for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 400 grams. Quintanilla was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.
Tuesday, May 31
*Early Police officers investigated a burglary of a building at Big J’s Auto, where a suspect(s) forced entry to the building and stole a set of keys to a vehicle and stole a 2000 Nissan Maxima which was gold in color. According to the report, the vehicle did not display a license plate at the time of the theft.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Christopher Kyle Reece of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
