Wednesday, May 29
*10:03 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Coggin Avenue regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that between the hours of 6:00 PM on May 28th and 10:03 AM this date, an unknown person damaged the rear window of his vehicle. The cost to repair the damage is estimated at approximately $361. The business did wish to pursue charges if a suspect can be identified, the report states.
*5:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Vincent Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that several items were removed from her vehicle in the overnight hours of May 26th-27th.
Thursday, May 30
*3:53 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Avenue D regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that her 16-year-old daughter had been assaulted by the daughter’s boyfriend. According to the report, the complainant wished to pursue criminal charges.
*8:56 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of S. Broadway regarding the burglary of a building, Trans Texas Tires. According to the report, the suspect fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival. The investigation is ongoing and a warrant is currently being sought.*11:58 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence in Brownwood regarding indecency with a child sexual contact. According to the report, a male and female spoke with the officer, stating their daughter had been touched inappropriately by a male subject in December of 2011.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Daniels Adam Goras on a warrant related to burglary of a building.
*Brown County Sherriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Jared Robert Jones for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams in a drug free zone.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 26-year-old Donald Wayne Sullivan, Jr. of Willis, Texas for unlawful carrying weapon and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Jon Stephen Waardenburg for failure to attend school.
Friday, May 31
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of vandalism to the Mullins Heritage Park historical marker located in Thrifty Park on County Road 105. According to the report, the complainant stated that a metal art longhorn steer image was removed from the rock and concrete historical marker, valued at $100.
