Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, May 3, 2011.

Monday, May 2

*1:19pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at BPD who reported a theft of money by a known suspect.  The theft occurred in the 500 block of Milton Avenue.  An investigation is underway.

*2:24pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 100 block of E. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, a follow up investigation led to a citation being issued to a suspect.

*3:56pm-Brownwood police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue, Brookshires, regarding theft.  According to the report, a woman was being detained within the store after she was seen putting items into her purse and then attempting to leave the store without paying.  Items stolen were valued at $12.04 and included a 12 oz can of Hormel Chicken Breast, 4 avocados, a 12 oz can of Betty Crocker cream cheese frosting; and a package of Nature Sweet tomatoes.  The woman was cited for the theft, issued a criminal trespass warning at the request of management, and asked to leave the store.

*10:15pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Pecan Street, the Crazy Lemon, regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant wished to pursue criminal charges for the theft.

Tuesday, May 3

*12:17am-Brownwood Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1200 block of 6th Street.  According to the report, a check with dispatch revealed the driver, identified as 42-year-old James Charles Williams, had an invalid driver’s license and a previous conviction for Driving While License Invalid.  Williams was arrested for Driving While License Invalid with Previous Convictions.

*Brownwood Police arrested 18-year-old Jaron Marquel Abrams for Public Intoxication.

*Early Police arrested 39-year-old Flavio Noe Hernandez for Driving While License Invalid/Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.

*Early Police arrested 24-year-old Braden Lee St. Clair of Abilene for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
